• Independently resolve issues, identify solutions, and escalate promptly.
• Support and plan users’ participation in Deployments and Implementation, including User's Sanity and/or Penny Testing (PVT).

Our client, a top-tier global investment bank, is looking for a data BA to deliver enterprise-level data projects for different business lines. Successful candidates will gain broad front-to-back office exposure, from trading/ clearing to regulation/ compliance and security/ risk.

Responsibilities:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of various product types and collaborate with traders, strategists, and other operations professionals.
• Resolve data exceptions proactively, investigating and fixing complex issues that involve multiple teams and vendors.
• Collaborate with business partners to analyze and implement solutions for new business reference data needs.
• Work with a global team of product experts to address comprehensive reference data problems that involve multiple stakeholders and divisions.
• Cultivate strong relationships with critical vendors to improve data controls and ensure the highest quality product.
• Identify and implement process improvements globally to enhance the entire data governance process.
• Collaborate with senior technologists and project managers on key initiatives that shape the reference data support model used in the financial industry.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of data-related regional project experience in an enterprise setting
• Strong understanding of at least 1 financial product, including equities, fixed income, FX, commodities, derivatives, etc.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate complex issues to internal clients with varying levels of product knowledge.
• Proactive and self-motivated team player
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. SQL/ Python knowledge is a plus.
