About the role:

• Actively advising on the promotion of a positive HSE culture to serve the effective implementation of all procedures.
• Participate in the inspection of fire extinguishers, slings, guayas, shackles, vehicles, security and emergency systems.
• Analysis and monitoring of preventive action reports (rap).
  Supervise that the ART is prepared and appropriate according to the work activity being carried out.
• Advising management on procedures to ensure that the offices, workshops, other premises and all facilities operated by the company comply with the policies and legal requirements.
• Advising line management and supervisors of HSE issues.
• Providing assistance regarding Systems of Administration to HSE Department.
• Liaising with the relevant authorities on all matters pertaining to health, safety and the environment.
• Investigate incidents and analyse trends as required as well as providing recommendations and corrective actions where required.
• Liaising with supervisors, line managers and external agencies re: OH&S training and course content (training profiles) and delivering HSE training as determined.

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• WSHO (Workplace Safety and Health Officer) registered.
• Experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in the oil and gas sectors.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct audits, inspections, and deliver HSE training.

About the role:

• Report to the Chief Resident Engineer (CRE) and assist with coordination and interfacing matters with contractors on site.
• Focus on inter-disciplinary construction management by assisting the CRE in coordinating the existing team of discipline Lead Resident Engineers, including liaising with the in-house Engineering Design Manager (EDM) on any outstanding design issues affecting immediate construction activities.

• Participate in and follow up on interface and coordination matters arising from Weekly Progress Meetings, MEICA Erection Meetings, Contractors Interface Meetings, BIM Review Meetings, and other relevant sessions, ensuring coordinated completion of the works leading into the Testing and Commissioning phase of the project.

About you:

• A relevant Mechanical Engineering Degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) or registration with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in design coordination, MEICA interface management, and construction of large infrastructure and/or industrial projects, waste to energy plants, power plant projects, or waste/water management projects in Singapore is preferred but overseas/international experience will also be considered as relevant for a multidisciplinary experienced candidate.
