• Assist in sales-closing & after-sales process. Work cohesively with other team members to solve unique day-to-day problems

The Café Assistant/Barista is responsible for taking customers’ orders in a café setting, answering questions on meal items, making recommendations on meal bundles, serving food/beverages to customers, maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises and performing cashiering duties.

At times, the personnel may also be required to prepare food. He/She will also be required to assist in ad-hoc duties as needed. should have a pleasant personality, able to work under pressure and maintain an adequate energy level.

Applicants with barista training and experience are preferred, but it isn't an essentialy requirement as training can be provided.

The personnel also takes responsibility for FoH operations, prepares a variety of coffee-based beverages and teas according to their organisation’s unique recipes and procedures, and serves the drinks, along with pastries and cookies. He/she will also recommend drinks to new customers, promote new recipes, keep the serving area neat and clean, keep equipment and services fully operational by following operating instructions, troubleshoot breakdowns, and maintain inventories by replenishing coffee bean/tea bag supplies, pastries and cookies for coffee bar.

To provide customers with a positive experience, he/she should possess a friendly disposition, good communication skills and be able to work in a team. He/she is expected to work on a shift pattern to cover early mornings and late evenings.

Job Description

• Assist the Head of Sales to formulate and implement sales strategies to grow market share in the Electrical Product sector. (i.e., PVC cables, electrical circuit protection, wiring devices and cable support system etc.)
• Provide support in strengthening relationships and aligning growth strategies with Key Account clients through periodic business reviews.
• Identify clients' needs by specifications and exploring new opportunities with existing or new accounts by liaising with electrical contractors (mainly), M&E consultants, ID(s), architects and home owners.
• Conduct regular market research to be up-to-date on market sentiments, projects, and opportunities in order to have a strong project pipeline.
• Ensure timely report submissions and updates on trade prices.
• Conduct presentations, negotiations and closing of sales with clients.

Main Purpose of the Job:

Function as the Lead in delivering professional PM services for large scale HDB construction projects.

Job Description (Key Responsibilities):

• Act as a lead in the project to liaise with all level of stakeholders (Client, Consultants, Contractor, Authorities and end-users) on project related matter.
• Lead site team in project and manage the project managers involved in project
• Chair meetings with key stakeholders involved i.e. Key Personnel Meeting, Project Control Meeting, EOT meetings and other ad hoc meetings called by the Client.
• To attend as necessary the Site Progress Meeting, Technical Meetings and Design and Coordination Meetings; and to keep the meeting minutes of these meetings.
• To monitor and review the project master schedule and advise the Client on the impact of any delay events
• Monitor project cash flow projections, ensuring payments are processed promptly and recommended to the Client for payment on time.
• Manage the review of roombook-related and general variations with Consultants and Client.
• Assist Project Director in project administration and liaison with client on project implementation
• Manage consultants and ensure deliverables based on agreed program and completion dates.
• Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
• Together with other consultants, evaluate any Extension of Time claims by the Contractor and recommending the extension period to the Client.
• Facilitates the handing over process of the completed project to the relevant stakeholders.
• Manage the defects reporting and rectification process during Defects Liability Period.
• In collaboration with other consultants, to manage the process of variation certification and closure
• Prepare the Monthly PM report to the Client.

Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Behaviours)

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Familiar with building plans submission procedures and approvals, construction sequencing and handing over process for HDB construction projects
• Relevant working experience in the built environment sector and proven management abilities
• Effective communication skills and leadership qualities
• Ability to lead a site team
• Minimum andled projects with construction sum above SGD150mil is advantageous.

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the built-environment industry handling new-build construction projects
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Project Manager for new-build HDB construction projects
• Minimum 2 years’ experience within a dedicated Project Management consultancy group (or Architectural/Engineering consultancy with PM responsibilities)
