Pipeline and Business Development is an executive function in B2B SaaS- and one of the three core pillars of GTM (marketing, pipeline, sales) for each of our regions.

You will have a seat at the table as a GTM leader for your region, in conjunction with the sales and marketing leadership team, helping devise and execute pipeline growth strategies in alignment with the Global Vice President of Pipeline & Growth. 

Job Description

The Senior Director of Pipeline & Business Development is the GTM leader for pipeline growth within their region. This role is responsible for driving pipeline growth, by directly leading a team of inbound and outbound business development professionals, while helping sales and channel build effective pipeline generating strategies across the region. 

In addition the Senior Director of Pipeline & Business Development will lead two global teams: the Digital Support team composed of digital chat agents to help qualify demand generated directly through our webchat experience and our global Account Intelligence & Expansion team, driving deeper persona expansion. 

Responsibilities:

• Be the GTM leader for pipeline growth and operate as the subject matter expert for pipeline generation and management across the region.
• Own the Business Development inbound and outbound pipeline and opportunity goals, while driving all prospecting efforts across all sources
• Own the Digital Support and Account Intelligence & Expansion teams to positively impact our global pipeline generation efforts
• Build and execute a full sales funnel for all new business prospecting within the region and pertaining subregions:
  • Identify and build out buying journeys, decision making units, ICPs

• Develop and drive the strategy for all inbound and outbound playbooks for pipeline generation and conversions while inspiring two teams: Sales Development Representatives (inbound and lead driven) and Business Development Managers (outbound and intent signal driven) across multiple markets and industries

• Work with our Sales Effectiveness team to strategize our lead management platform, sequence strategies and identify new prospecting tools for automation

Team Summary

The Credit Settlement Risk (CSR) team is part of the Risk function and acts as a 2nd Line of Defence. CSR is responsible for protecting Visa and its shareholders from financial loss and goodwill damage because of a member’s failure to fulfil its settlement obligations.  In line with Visa’s growth strategy requiring a balanced and sustainable approach to risk / reward, credit & settlement risk is one of the significant risks that Visa Asia Pacific undertakes.    

What a Director, Credit Risk Management does at Visa:

• The role requires to be a strategic leader, supporting the head of function in setting and delivering the strategic direction and goals on collateral management, managing key stakeholder relationships. In addition, the role requires to be a subject matter expert in leading new collateral initiatives for clients in Asia Pacific and work with the credit analysts to appropriate mitigating measures to manage the credit risks.
• The role requires strong leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills. Key to the role will be a proactive forward-looking approach to enhancing the Credit & Settlement risk capabilities to support business growth strategy whilst balancing an appropriate risk / reward outcome. There will be a strong emphasis on the use data and analytical capabilities to improve processes, become more effective and provide better insights to actively make better risk management decisions. 
• The ability to take a portfolio approach to managing and understanding of the Asia Pacific client base as well as a good understanding of the CSR framework and systems.
• The role will require to lead and maintaining a strong relationship and partnering with Global Credit & Settlement function, complying with the Global Risk policy and procedures, supporting, active participation and as appropriate influencing global projects to support Visa Asia Pacific.

Position reports to:

Senior Finance Manager (Singapore)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting to Management
• Preparation and closing of monthly financial statements
• Responsible for monitoring and tracking receivables due from ship owners, and working closely with owners for collection
• Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (AR, AR, GL, account reconciliations)
• Responsible for accurate intercompany billing and other intercompany activities
• Support forecasting and budgeting of financial results
• Perform monthly variance analysis to identify irregularities, anomalies and areas of improvement.
• Communicate and collaborate with relevant stakeholders on accounting matters to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, government authorities as required
• Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Participate in company and department initiatives to simplify processes, enhance internal controls, and increase efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Accounts Executive in a mid-sized organisation. Ship management experience is an advantage, but not essential.
• ACCA/Degree/Diploma in Accountancy
• Good working knowledge of Singapore and International Financial Reporting Standards
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP, or other mid-range accounting systems
• Independent, self-starter, strong in critical thinking, proactive, resourceful, team-player

• Oversee and review the hotel monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness of the profit and loss statement and balance sheet
• Promptly follow up issues with hotel Financial Controller
• Review hotel operation process and ensure compliance of policies and procedures, standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements
• Identify inefficiency and deficits and areas in need of changes and improvements
• Plan efficiencies and monitor performance, elicit requirements and areas for improvements, translate and simplify processes, review, and recommend changes to standard operating procedures and policy and procedures, when necessary

3) Feasibility studies and projects

• Assist with the preparation or review of the business case, operational and financial audit and review
• Drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests, and manage a project's scope, acceptance, installation and deployment
• Projection participation - To hold a strategy role in key projects (eg, procurement project, HRIS project, etc.)

4) Any other ad hoc assignments

• To cover the role of hotel's Financial Controller as and when required
• To cover any ad-hoc tasks as and when required

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent
• More than 10 years of relevant finance experience
• External audit experience in Big Four Accounting Firm
• Proficient in data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau will be a plus)
• Good written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently, proactive, committed, result-oriented and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Possess strong analytical, technical, written and oral communication skills.
• Adopt practical and commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice
• Meticulous and has an eye for detail Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Frequent travelling is expected (approximately 50%)

Business Development & Events Executive

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development & Events Executive to be part our meeting services team. The ideal candidate should be a proactive and self-motivated networker who thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Your role includes:

• Introduce suitable polling software to SGX listed companies for holding physical or hybrid Annual General Meeting/Extraordinary General Meeting (AGM/EGM)

• Identify prospective clients, build relationships with key decision-makers and retain existing clients

• Prepare proposals and deliver product demonstration/presentation to potential clients

• Provide support for the overall coordination in the lead up to the client’s AGM/EGM

• Participate in post-event debrief, system enhancement discussion and perform user acceptance tests

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Degree in Business, Marketing or related fields

• 2-3 years of experience in software sales and is comfortable presenting to senior management and related stakeholders

• Possess strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Able to work effectively as a team player with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization

• Fresh graduates will also be considered

Key responsibilities:

• Effectively runs the day-to-day and end-to-end media planning on key accounts
