The Programme Executive, Japanese Section is responsible for the planning and effective delivery of Japanese programmes (including Aquatics, Sports & Recreation, Camps) for the Japanese community in Singapore.
The incumbent is also expected to work with local staff to serve and build community aiming at social impact with children, youth, families and seniors.
Responsibilities:
· Plans, executes and implements sports and wellness outreach programme for Japanese programme children
· Ability to improve Japanese programme enrolment, publicity and quality
· Ability to develop and evaluate programmes (curriculum, lesson plans, etc.) for smooth running and sustainability
· Assists in evaluating programme quality and impact
· Hands-on support for smooth running of programmes
· Collaborates and works with local section in outreach programmes to local community
· Able to retain current members and growth of new membership
· Handles all feedback raised by parents or participants in a prompt and professional manner
· Works with the network of relationships with the local Japanese community, including schools, churches, embassy, and corporations
· Recruits and trains instructors and volunteers in programme running, safety issues, class management and conflict resolution.
Requirements:
· Degree in Sports / Physical Education / Outdoor Education
· Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
· Passion in people-centred work through Japanese and related programmes
· Ability to translate and analyze goals and objectives into operational and team plans
· Ability to manage budget with accountability
· Project Management skills: ability to lead, organize and coordinate projects
· Experience and knowledge of physical education, membership, family, youth and children programmes
