FACILITIES / BUILDING MANAGER
We are looking for an experienced hands-on manager to oversee the daily operations of several industrial/commercial & residential properties. You will be coordinating and managing maintenance and repair activities, and liaising with vendors to ensure smooth daily operations.
To be successful as our Facilities/Building Manager, you should have excellent organizational and project management skills and ensure that our properties are in compliance with applicable regulations and building codes. A top-notch Facilities/Building Manager should be able to respond to and resolve any issues reported by tenants efficiently.
Roles & Responsibilities
ยท Coordinating and overseeing regular building maintenance and repairs.
ยท Managing and directing cleaning staff and activities.
ยท Preparing and carrying out emergency protocols and procedures.
ยท Maintaining a safe environment for building occupants and visitors.
ยท Preparing and monitoring maintenance budgets.
ยท Negotiating and liaising with third party service providers.
ยท Conducting regular building inspections and preparing reports.
ยท Ensuring facilities are in compliance with applicable policies, regulations and building codes.
ยท Responding to inquiries and requests by building tenants and resolving any problems or issues.
Requirements
ยท Diploma in Building Estate Management.
ยท Minimum 5 yearsโ experience as a Facilities/Building Manager or in a similar role.
ยท Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and building codes.
ยท Excellent project management and negotiation skills.
ยท Excellent command of MS Excel and Word.
ยท Good oral and written communication and customer service skills.
ยท Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
ยท Must have own transport.
ยท Must be able to be mobilized after office hours in case of emergency.
ยท Ability to communicate with Mandarin speaking customers.
