Job Description:

• Order processing duties including but not limited to order entry, order amendments, order status notification, and order expediting.
• Attend and respond to all enquiries and customers’ feedback by telephone, fax and emails on timely manner.
• Provide professional service and advice to customers pertaining to products.
• Preparation of quotation and send to customers by telephone, fax or email.
• Follow-up on outstanding order and perform call-backs to customers if necessary.
• Perform close follow-up and internal co-ordination with customers, logistics and warehouse to ensure timely delivery.
• To liaise at all times with all team members and work as a team to achieve the sales targets.
• Prepare proforma invoice for the accuracy of the orders.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum “O” / Diploma levels.
• 1-2 years of experience in customer service-related roles.
• Competence in PC skills (MC Microsoft Office)
• Must be a team player, independent, positive working attitude and able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Good communication skills and able to take up pressure.

As an Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Answer phone enquiries and orders professionally and efficiently with the use of good telephone techniques, customer service, speed and accuracy
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide quotations to customers promptly
• Process incoming and outgoing customer’s orders
• Manage daily operations and customer inquiries and requests
• Take orders from customers and coordinate with the various parties to ensure timely delivery.
• Follow up on customer’s requests and scheduled orders
• Generate picking lists and delivery orders for warehouse and transport departments
• Ensure business transaction closure from sales order through issuance of delivery note to invoicing and payment
• Process inquiries and send booking confirmations to customers
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Manager

Requirements:

• Minimum ITE NITEC / Higher NITEC in Logistics / Business studies
• Prior experience in customer service and/or in the logistics industry would be distinct advantages
• Possess good time management & strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team.
• Able to execute the tasks independently, multi-task, good follow-up skills and time management
• Able to work in 5.5 days work week (Alternate Saturday after probation)

About the Role

As the Data Platform Training and Communications Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and adoption of Dyson's Data Platform. You will develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy, designed to empower users with the skills and knowledge they need to leverage the Data Platform's capabilities effectively. Your role extends to fostering knowledge sharing, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining open lines of communication within the team and across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Training Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy for Data Platform users, ensuring proficiency in platform utilization.
• Training Programs: Design, organize, and deliver tailored training programs for data engineers, platform engineers, and team members.
• Onboarding: Develop and maintain an onboarding program to facilitate a seamless transition for new users and team members.
• Skill Enhancement: Identify skills gaps and create training initiatives to address them, covering technical skills, best practices, and industry trends.
• Documentation: Collaborate with engineers to create and maintain internal documentation, knowledge bases, and training materials.
• Knowledge Sharing: Promote a culture of knowledge sharing, encouraging team members to share their expertise.
• Communication: Develop a comprehensive communication plan, ensuring the team and organization are informed of important developments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments or teams within Dyson to align on data-related projects and initiatives.
• Feedback and Evaluation: Gather feedback to continuously improve and tailor training content to team members' needs.
• Vendor Training: Coordinate vendor-provided training and certifications for team members.

About You

As the ideal candidate for this role, you possess the following qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: Experience and exposure in DataOps, data platforms and data engineering in general. Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, particularly in a technical or data-related context.
• Technical Proficiency: A solid understanding of data engineering concepts and technologies, with the ability to translate technical information into user-friendly training materials.
