Responsibilities:

• Provide primary technical assistance and support to end-users for live systems, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and minimizing downtime.
• Resolve software issues related to remote devices, servers, networks, and security systems to maintain system integrity and security.
• Maintain systems by performing routine checks, updates/patching, and configurations as required. Generate reports based on system performance and user requirements.
• Assist users with technical inquiries, troubleshoot problems, and escalate unresolved issues to higher levels of support or relevant teams.
• Support users with login issues, password resets, and access-related queries to ensure smooth and secure access to systems and resources.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to enhance system functionality and user experience.
• Proactively identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to prevent future problems and optimize system performance.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in IT or equivalent qualification
• Technical expertise in Windows Server Management/Administration, and Windows OS

Job Description:

• Plan and control the delivery of project design to ensure the achievement of quality, completion and project objectives.
• Select and engage, then monitor the performance of external design partners within the discipline including their deliverables, cost and timeframes.
• Manage the design approval process in accordance with project requirements and program.
• Prepare budgets and schedules of design delivery for management approval then manage and report the cost of design delivery in the project life cycle.
• Manage design to ensure the cost of the works meets project requirements.
• Manage and review milestone deliverables from the Design Consultants to ensure the compliance and adherence to project schedule, scope and Design Brief, Stakeholders’ requirements and comments, statutory codes and regulations, and company guidelines.
• Obtain, review and consolidate Stakeholders’ feedbacks on stage deliverables, and relay such feedbacks as directives to Consultants.
• Manage client and stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with the project team.
• Supervise the work of subordinate design and drafting staff to ensure project requirements are met.
• Select and develop design management staff within the project by providing leadership and mentoring to ensure their design management competencies.
• Understand design compliance and reporting procedures and processes and leadership in the communication of requirements.
• Foster the interaction between design and construction teams to maximise innovation and project success.

Job Requirement:

• Recognised Degree in building Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of engineering experience in the construction industry with 8 years of experience in the design of civil and structures of building related projects.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The role will lead in the development and execution of communications projects, initiatives and global media partnerships in support of SMU's engaged city university strategic thrust.
• In enhancing SMU's brand and reputation regionally through the University's overseas centres, the role will provide support through strategic communications and media publicity planning, and work with partners on the execution of plans.
• The role will develop compelling content that clearly conveys the meaningful impact SMU makes through its education, research and global engagement, with focus on its three strategic priorities to realise SMU Vision 2025 and beyond.
• In internal communications, the role will develop strategic plans, write and oversee the preparation of SMU President's communications to the University community.
• The role will oversee the creative conceptualising, planning and production of the University's annual report and corporate newsletter.
• Other duties include conducting research, developing, writing and editing a wide variety of materials including quotes, video scripts, speeches, talking points, background materials, narratives, opinion-editorial and thought leadership pieces.
• The role will be Principal Counsel on comms and media publicity matters to School of Accountancy and School of Social Sciences, and to Office of Partnerships and Engagement, Office of Industry Engagement, International Office, Office of Overseas Centres and its affiliate offices, SMU Libraries and Dato' Kho Hui Meng Career Centre.

• A bachelor's degree in journalism, English, literature, communications, creative writing, or a similar discipline.
• A master's degree is preferable.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, with at least 5 years of leadership experience in managing a team.

​We are looking for a passionate and professional Assistant Technical Officer to join our Facility Management team.

Based in Singapore and reporting into the Senior Executive Officer, the incumbent will organise and execute the repair, maintenance and improvement programs at all branches, livewires, off-course betting centres, UBI stores and BCP sites, ensuing the business operations continuity of the branches within corporate guidelines and budget.

What You'll Do

• You will collaborate with various stakeholders to plan and execute all A&A, repairs and maintenance works for all branches, livewires, OCBs, UBI stores and all BCP sites, to ensure the business operations continuity.
• You will manage contracts through timely call for quotations, stringent review and evaluation of proposals, to ensure getting the best value for all building services, maintenance and renovation works.
• You will submit reports, monitor budget and expenditure, prepare RFP / RFQ / Tender document / EAFS, check invoices and update records and ensure that operating expenditures are within budgets.
• You will assess and manage risks at all workplace during A&A and comply with prevailing safety and statutory regulations.
• You will stay current on the various technical regulations stipulated by relevant authorities/governing bodies (eg BCA, SCDF) and ensure that SPPL properties do not breach safety regulations.

Who You Are

• You will need a Diploma in Building Services Engineering or Estate Management or Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
• You will need to have a minimum 3 years of related working experience.
• You have knowledge of M&E and Building Services.
• You have experience in project management and risk management.
