RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Technical Service Manager focuses foremost on supporting customers (expectation approx. 75% of time). The function, together with Sales, initiates and executes Initiatives and Projects with customers that deliver on contribution targets within the current FY and prioritizes those projects to deliver sales 2 – 3 years beyond the current FY. Technical Service is therefore, together with Sales, the execution arm of Oil Additives (OA) for contribution margin achievement.

A JOB THAT MATTER: YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing the schedules and resources of our deployment team.

This position requires strong coordination and administrative skills, the ability to thrive under tight deadlines, and a commitment to enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide shared support to Service Sales & Operations team
2. Handle customer’s enquiries via phone call and emails in his/her assigned territory
3. Manage administrative tasks such as preparing of quotations, invoices, pick list, reports, and other documentations.
4. Effectively schedule and follow up on customer work orders for automatic doors breakdown, installation, and/or preventive maintenance until closure for Service Engineers, ensuring smooth field support operations.
5. Liaise and coordinate with Warehouse to facilitate materials and equipment to meet delivery KPI (Key performance indicators).
6. Monitor and follow up customer payments, including outstanding collection, if any.
7. Assist in back up of tasks when respective team member is out of office
8. Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by immediate supervisor or head of department from time to time.

EXPERIENCE THAT MATTERS: YOUR SKILLS & QULIFICATION

1. Good communication and coordination skills to enable interaction with internal and external customers effectively.
2. Good knowledge and application of Microsoft Office such as MS Excel (e.g VLOOKUP and Pivot Table).
3. Strong coordination skills
4. Strong attention to details
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualification:

1. Diploma in business adminstration/engineering or equivalent
2. Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience in construction industry

We are looking for Service Engineers for commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of marine/ship propulsion equipment. Qualified candidates should have hands-on experience with assembly and repair of heavy mechanical equipment, and/or familiar with marine electronics and automation systems.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Complete repair and installation work

· Perform Maintenance and service work

· Determine the extent of damage and repairs in case of warranty

· Identify the causes and undertake error diagnostics for propulsion systems with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic

and electrical components

· Carry out modifications with ease and confidence

You should be prepared to work in a shop environment, in shipyards or on board of ships.

International traveling in the region is required. You should be able to handle work situations under time constraint, acting as the on-site expert with our customers.

Suitable candidates should hold an engineering degree in the fields of mechanical, marine, automation and electronics or mechatronics engineering. Candidates with equivalent professional background will be considered.

Job Description:

• Handle local and overseas customers account.
• Upon receipt of customers’ orders, issue sales order form and key in sales order into system.
• Raise purchase requisition when necessary.
• Liaise with Purchasing/Production/Store on stock availability and plan delivery schedules.
• Inform customers with regard to delivery dates.
• Make booking with transporter or forwarder for outgoing shipment.
• Get and confirm flight/vessel details, fax/inform them customers.
• Check with Store personnel on whether the outgoing shipment has been picked up by the forwarder.
• Follow up customers’ past due orders, overdue accounts receivable and highlight the matters to Logistics and Distribution Manager.
• Apply certificate of origin and print certificate of analysis, when necessary.
• Attend customers’ enquiries and mail original invoices to customers.
• Submit insurance declaration form (open marine policy) to the insurance company.
• Prepare documents on TRADENET.
• Verify with Accounts Department regarding freight invoices.
• For courier service, type consignment note and call for collection.
• Report any short shipment, damaged or missing cargo to Distribution & Logistics Manager for claim against insurance company.
• Ensure smooth flow of outgoing shipments
• Maintain and update all relevant documentations for outgoing shipments. Provide track and trace visibility shipment status to customers should that not able to derive in shipment reports. Update respective customer for the status of orders, highlight if any risk of stock-out, short, expire, etc
• Monthly reporting and pricing matter
• Assist in answering telephone calls
• Any others tasks as and when assigned by Management.

Location: Jurong East

Duration: 4 months

Salary: up to $3000 Per Month

Working Hours: Mon to Thur (8.30am to 6pm), Fri (8.30am to 5.30pm)
