Job responsibilities:

1. Familiar with the manufacturing process, equipment technology, and market trends in the semiconductor industry, combined with the company's existing equipment software and hardware advantages, develop a development roadmap for high-precision equipment products.
2. Build simulation models and input-output analysis models for sub micron level high-precision equipment, lead the team to fully integrate and introduce internal and external technical resources, and continuously develop equipment products with high technical barriers and industry competitive advantages;
3. Collaborate with the marketing department to develop a 3-5 year external sales strategy and sales plan for high-precision equipment products, lead the team to achieve sales and profit targets, and achieve excellent customer satisfaction;
4. Identify industry professionals, build and cultivate teams with sub micron level equipment research and development capabilities, manage team performance through data management, and train and motivate teams to achieve technological breakthroughs.

Job requirements:

1. Master's degree or above in automation design related majors; At least 8 years of experience in equipment development (such as semiconductor equipment modules) in the semiconductor industry, with excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (To work closely with Team in HQ)
2. Possess rich design theory and experience in sub micron level high-precision equipment, proficient in simulation model construction and input-output analysis model construction in the design process
3. Master the technology and market resources of the semiconductor industry, be familiar with the development trends of the semiconductor equipment market, and be good at mobilizing and introducing external priority talents and technologies;
4. Proficient in managing data analysis and process optimization skills, adept at outputting analysis and plan reports, and possessing excellent reporting abilities;
5. Excellent teamwork and management skills, strong cross departmental communication skills, strong logical thinking, and clear thinking.

Job Description

Negotiate, manage, coordinate, and support Logistics sourcing activities for all modes of Freight (Air, Ocean, Trucking & Parcel) including warehousing and brokerage preparing RFx, managing the process and analyzing competitive bids using eSourcing tool.
Analyze spend data, internal requirements, and external supply markets to develop strategic sourcing strategies and plans aligned with the business goals.
Prepare, redline and negotiate commercial contracts - services agreements, licenses, statements of work and amendments in conjunciton with legal team
Develop strong collaborative relationships with internal clients to strategically manage spend and the supply base for assigned categories.
Develop strong partnerships with Logistics operations, accounts payable, and legal teams.
Manage, co-ordinate and support special/critical projects such as ad hoc and spot rate approval process and others as needed.
The commodity manager will need to provide excellent strategic sourcing support to the reporting manager and business partners to ensure a competitive advantage for Western Digital.
Will drive improvements in key metrics such as cost, quality and transit time.
The CM will drive process-improvements, assist with projects and provide feedback to management on market conditions, supplier relationships, and quality and customer service issues.
Ensure timely and cost effective acquisition of products, services and equipment while driving contract compliance.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred, Master's degree a plus
Preferred 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience in the Logistics space (Warehouse services & Transportation) and eSourcing tool experience
Demonstrated skills in negotiating and formulating contracts for services procurement, understanding of outsourcing models and cost associated with them, total cost models, should cost model, service rate benchmarking and contractual negotiation
Highly developed negotiation skills and knowledge of contract
Ability to work well in a high-pace dynamic environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure task completion and deadlines are met as required
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word & Powerpoint

Objectives of this role

• Manage worksites for new construction as well as remodeling projects, coordinating activities and ensuring that all work is in sync with project goals and objectives
• Provide direction to general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors when doing groundwork to ensure that quality standards are being met
• Liaise with engineers, architects, and others working on a project
• Prepare and manage estimates, budgets, timetables, and resources
• Identify, mitigate, and track recurring construction issues
• Adhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists; hire full-time and part-time subcontractors and laborers and coordinate their schedules
• Visit sites regularly during construction — including bid walks, preconstruction walks, in-progress visits, punch walks, and closeouts — and attend status and coordination meetings
• Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process, ensuring that the work environment is acceptable and that tools and equipment are in good working condition
• Maintain and update SOW and preconstruction documents, and meet contract obligations by developing relationships with reliable contractors and vendors
• Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions

Required skills and qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in managing new construction and remodeling projects
• Knowledge of construction methods and technologies and an ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts
• Knowledge of building code requirements and scheduling methods
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for quality
• Knowledge of construction worksite safety practices
