Will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to members of the Human Resources Department and occasionally to Administrative Services as directed. Primary function of this position will be to maintain the workflow by assisting with the fulfilment of procedural requirements relative to proper documentation, filing, and follow-through. Job Duties/Roles

10. Performs routine and non-routine clerical tasks with little or no supervision.

11. Provides assistance with backlog or on special projects as needed or directed.

12. Attends training courses as needed. On-the-job training will be provided as needed for maintenance of HRIS and generating of ad hoc reports by department members.

13. Other duties or special projects as assigned.

14. Performs data entry as needed for maintaining and updating employee records in the human resources information management database in a confidential manner.

15. Performs other departmental tasks and/or participates in various projects as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (KSAR)

1. Must be skillful in the use of various PC software programs. Ability to learn additional programs as required.

2. Familiarity with the basic functions of a human resources information system (HRIS).

· Manage and coordinate the flow of information between customers, warehouse and the transport team concerning the status of orders, incoming shipments, arrangement for cargo pick up, engagement of haulier services, unstuffing of incoming shipments, delivery arrangement, wrong orders, returned/damaged goods, unavailable loading bay at customer site, direct reject of orders at point of delivery, etc

· Ensure that critical information with regard to urgent delivery, special timing request are communicated and follow up with the transport team till completion of delivery

· Liaise with customers to evaluate and establish actual reason for direct reject of orders at the point of delivery; and rectify the error when necessary and work with finance to process credit note promptly and accurately

· Work closely with accounts team to:

a. Resolve and reconcile credit note discrepancies against payment made by customers;

b. Resolve and reconcile price error in orders and generate price difference credit note upon receipt of approval from customers and the Company

· Exercise good customer service skill when managing difficult customers and/or customer complaints

· Verify and analyse information gathered from customers’ feedback; and resolve the issues on the spot whenever possible. Otherwise, work closely with the relevant department to ensure customer complaints are appropriately addressed, service recovery are carried out promptly and preventive actions are in place to prevent recurrence of similar issues

Purpose of the post

The Research Assistant will be responsible for, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and study team members to ensure the successful completion of the study on time. The Research Assistant’s principal role will be to work in general practices such as wet-laboratory experiments, data collections and analysis, including related safety & health performances.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Assistant will report to the Principal Investigator to,

1. Oversee the general management of the project;

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Assurance:

• Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased M&E equipments.

Supplier Relations:

• Maintain positive relationships with existing suppliers.

Cost Optimization:

• Work closely with the Cost Management and BD teams to optimize costs without compromising quality.

JOB PURPOSE

The role is primarily responsible to support the full spectrum of human resource functions with a key focus on payroll matters.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Handle accurate and monthly payroll processing for about 300 headcounts.
• Maintain HRIS database and staff personnel file.
• Manage leave administration.
• Submission of Government Paid Leaves (GPL) and other statutory submissions such as CPF, IR21, IR8A, and NS claim.
