To assist Assistant Finance Manager in processing monthly close, managing daily operations, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing payment processing of vendors’ invoices, transport, staff reimbursement, instructor fees.
• Overseeing Fixed Asset administration including Fixed asset count.
• Performing monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Checking creation of SAP Vendors master records.
• Maintaining General Ledger and prepare journal entries for monthly closing.
• Assists in preparation of statutory financial statements and budget reports.
• Handling any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• Assist Executive (Procurement) in administration matters and assigned work

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or its equivalent
• At least 5 years of working experience in accounting
• Experience working in an educational institution is an added advantage
• Proficient in MS Office applications and SAP accounting software
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Available for entire contract period

• Develop and implement audit plans

• Review financial statements and identify risks and areas for improvement

• Supervise and manage audit staff

• Address matters arising from the audit process and provide recommendations to improve internal controls and financial processes.

• Ensure proper audit documentation and file quality.

• Responsible for audit engagements’ quality, delivery, and budget.

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients.

• Work with management to develop knowledge materials and conduct trainings.

Job requirement

• Have at least a Degree in Accountancy/Accounting/Finance or equivalent

• Have at least 4 years of relevant experience

• Good understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, Singapore Standards on Auditing and the relevant statutory regulations.
