Training Design of Training Development Project

Designing and aligning Learner-centric Pedagogies into each Training Development project – using an established templated framework, to meet the defined Learning Objectives.

Training Development work

• Development of new Lesson Plans (LPs) and review of existing LPs to incorporate/align with the latest Lesson Objectives, Content, and Methods of Instruction (MOI) required to meet the desired Training Outcomes.
• Development of new Lesson Materials (LMs) and review of existing LMs to align with revised LPs in terms of the Lesson Objectives, Content, and Methods of Instruction (MOI). The detailed coordination arrangement or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) governing the program management shall be developed by the Contractor and approved by the Authority for implementation.

Requirements

• Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) or equivalent
• Qualifications or certificates in Training Development or Instructional Design from WDA, NIE or an accredited training institution such as the Institute of Higher Learning (IHL), or equivalent.

Daily Operations

• Operate and run day to day AV and VC system for virtual and physical events
• Plan and manage schedule for multiple Teams/ VC meeting to ensure setup and tests are done
• Responsible in ensuring AV and VC system are in good working condition by conducting predictive and preventive maintenance
• Providing Level 1 support on fault rectification works
• Produce monthly report of the maintenance checks for filing and checking
• Working closely with Facilities Management team on operation.
• Attending to maintenance service requests
• Maintain an asset inventory with proper labelling as well as problem and incident reports
• Coordinate and supervise the rectification of AV and VC defects, maintenance, replacement and upgrading works
• Monitor and attend to maintenance service requests

Who we are looking for

• Technicians/ Operational Executive shall have at least 1 year experiences in audio visual (AV) equipment operations and maintenance
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with an eye for detail
• Well knowledge on MS Teams and Polycom system

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a member of the factory management team, contributing to overall factory operations and decision-making.
• Drive the Employee Engagement plan for the factory in collaboration with the SCO functional HRBP, and actively participate in the site's safety efforts.
• Support training needs based on Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and the training plan for the factory. Participate in (but not lead) the World Class Manufacturing Training and Education pillar.
• Act as the primary contact with local government authorities, such as social security and the labor ministry. Represent the company in internal and external audits, manage labor suits and government audits, and interact with internal and external lawyers. May also represent the company in court.
• Drive the Performance Management of Blue Collar employees, aligning with a balanced mix of team and individual objectives to support World-Class Manufacturing involvement and achieve Factory Performance/KPIs.
• ssist managers in defining roles for resourcing, coordinating with SCO functional business partners, and potentially participating in the recruitment process for Blue Collar employees.
• Ensure, where applicable and in coordination with the HR Country Representative, the quality and application of benefits, particularly focusing on the blue-collar benefits package, and oversee any changes to the package.
• Support the payroll process by ensuring proper reporting, analysis, and legal compliance of overtime and shift hours. Collaborate with the SC Rewards team to ensure the timely and accurate payment of overtime and factory-specific allowances.
• Take charge of labor relations in collaboration with the HR Country Representative, serving as the main contact with local unions to address labor relations issues, agreements, and represent the company in all matters.
• Manage regular agreements, grievances, and, in collaboration with global and SC Rewards process managers, handle annual salary negotiations

Requirements

• At least minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in HR Country Services / Factory environment.
• Knowledge of SMETA Audit Methodology is an added advantage
• Proven work experience in manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of Trade Unions preferred
• Strong experience in Employee Engagement preferred
