About the Role:

As a Data Manager, you will spearhead the data group dedicated to supporting the commercial teams for our Travel business. Your expertise will drive strategic insights, enhance data-driven decision-making, and optimize commercial performance. This role requires a blend of technical prowess, leadership, and a deep understanding of supply commercial optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Led a team of data analysts and engineers, ensuring they have the data repository, tools, resources, and training to deliver high-quality data analysis and reporting.
• Partner with commercial stakeholders (market managers, ) to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable data requests.
• Develop and implement a data strategy for the commercial team that is aligned with the overall company objectives.
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the effectiveness of commercial campaigns and treatments
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in hotel and flight acquisition, conversion, and revenue.
• Communicate complex data insights in a clear, concise, and actionable way to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Stay up-to-date on the latest data science trends and technologies and implement them to improve data analysis capabilities.
• Foster a collaborative and data-driven culture within the commercial team.

Requirements (Education, Technical Skills, Relevant Experiences)

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in a data leadership role, preferably within the travel or supply chain industry.
• Proven experience in managing and mentoring data analysts.
• Strong understanding of data analysis methodologies, including SQL, statistics, and machine learning (a plus).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience working with data pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g., GCP) (a plus).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear and actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

You will be responsible for overseeing a team of 60+ QA Engineers and SDETs, driving a culture of quality, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional digital products and services. As a key member of the engineering leadership team, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners to establish and maintain robust quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Leadership & Strategy:
• Provide strategic direction and vision for the Quality Engineering organization.
• Build and develop a high-performing team of QA Engineers and SDETs through mentorship, coaching, and performance management.
• Foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization.
• Define and implement quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to track and communicate quality performance.
• Quality Assurance & Testing:
• Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies, processes, and methodologies that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the design, development, and execution of test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks.

Requirements (Education, Technical Skills, Relevant Experiences)

• Experience: 10+ years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing large QA or SDET teams.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
• Expertise in test automation frameworks, tools, and practices (e.g., Appium, Selenium, Maestro, TestNG, Testrail).
• Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) and scripting.
• Experience with performance testing, security testing, and other specialized testing areas.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and technologies.
