The Assistant Accounts Manager will oversee the full set of accounts, General Ledger (GL) and financial reporting for Singapore and other future overseas offices. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide financial insights for decision-making, and support the company's business. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.

The Assistant Accounts Manager will report to the CFO. This position can work hybrid.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with company objectives
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and provide regular reports and presentations to senior management
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements at group and company level
• Handle the full set of accounts and GL at holding company level
• Manage GST/tax calculations and submission
• Establish and implement effective internal controls to mitigate financial risks and protect company assets
• Apply knowledge of internal controls and best practices to ensure compliance
• Forecast and manage cash flow to ensure adequate funds for daily operations and strategic initiatives
• Provide support for banking and treasury activities related to concerned entities as necessary
• Support the CFO in financial activities and projects

Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience in the finance field
• Accounting or finance degree preferred
• ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified or equivalent

MAIN PURPOSE

The incumbent will support the overall business, financial & supply chain management process by rigorous management of the demand signals and order fulfilment for the business. You will lead the Regional Branded S&OP process by working with Brand Holders and Affiliates to ensure tight alignment in forecast and financial plans. You will also drive analysis and collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions and influence change.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Implement and embed S&OP process in Asia Pacific to synchronise business processes.

· Lead the Regional Branded S&OP process by working with functional teams to deliver a robust demand plan for the business.

· Lead the Regional Branded forecast vs LE reconciliation process and ensure there is no significant variance and call out potential risks & opportunities.

· Conduct forecast sufficiency & reasonability checks across affiliates and share trends insight and recommendation.

· Lead KPI improvement plans (Sales Forecast Accuracy, Fill Rate and Inventory Days) via root cause analysis and forecast bias correction.

· Lead the implementation of process & reporting standardisation across affiliates in the region.

· Lead & implement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in the demand & supply planning processes.

· Work closely with Global Supply to ensure optimal supply flow plan and optimal inventory level for key and critical SKUs.

· Collaborate with Global Supply on the process flow and management for phase in/phase out and innovation SKUs.

· Ensure best practices across affiliates for reporting analytics to correct forecast bias and improve consistency in attainment.

· Conduct historical sales trend analysis at Regional level to establish key demand drivers and collaborate with Regional Brands and markets to ensure we deliver an unbiased forecast for the entire planning horizon.

· Lead the capability building for multi-functional teams on S&OP, supply chain lead time and demand planning/forecasting processes leading to a step change on the quality of demand inputs coming into S&OP reviews.

REQUIREMENTS

· Degree / Diploma in relevant discipline or at least 10 years of equivalent work experience.

· Min 3 years of supervisory experience with Strong leadership qualities

· Experience in leading S&OP process.

· FMCG / Retail industry experience would be preferred.

· Hands on experience in SAP would be advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Service Operations support to internal and external customers in accordance with the terms of the customer contract and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

· Ensure the correct functioning and maintenance of all internal and external systems and products serviced by Service Operations

· When required, act as the customer SPOC and co-ordinate the scheduling of intervention with Customer's, internal resolver groups, and the Service Desk ensuring the highest level of customer services and communications are maintained to resolve the fault and incident within the prescribed SLA.

· Carry out incident and problem management support to the highest standards and co-ordinate the resolution with the appropriate resolver groups

· Ensure shortest restoral times possible, initiating the timely escalations to specialized resolver groups inside and outside SITA, according to the customer contracts, SLAs and monitoring requirements

· Manage the replacement of faulty equipment through the use of spares, and ensuring the timely replenishment the spare according to prescribed availability and sparing policy.

· To ensure the Service Operations team adheres to the highest working standards for all incidents and problems by providing guidance, support and direct management.

· Proactively detect problems related to service and infrastructure operations and delivery services, conduct diagnostics and provide service request ownership to ensure resolution of customer problems

· Support the senior team members in the management, reporting, and co-ordination of day-day tasks

· Adhere to installation guidelines and industry best practices to deliver quality service and infrastructure operations

· Use the appropriate tools and equipment to perform the installation, intervention, and repairs in accordance with Service Operations and Delivery guidelines and instructions where provided

· Report and escalate to the next level those problems which cannot be fixed

· Carry out preventive and proactive maintenance of equipment and monitoring of systems and services in accordance with agreed schedules and customer expectations

· Perform Change Management, Configurations, Design and Implementation of the supported Product & Systems

· Conducts the analysis, definition, documentation and testing of application & systems enhancements

· To provide onsite support to Users during the cutover of the services

· Continuously identify and document lessons learnt, known errors and operational knowledge for improved services

· When/where required, be contactable for escalations and support, on and on-call standby basis during out of office hours.

3. Participates in/on a variety of meetings, committees, task forces and/or other related groups to communicate information regarding services, programs, areas of opportunity, and/or other pertinent information as appropriate.
4. Organise, plan and schedule classes, as well as activities for the holiday programs.
5. Manage teachers’ responsibilities and mentor teachers to help them understand the processes, approaches to teaching in the different programs.
6. Coordinate arrivals and pick up schedule with bus drivers on a daily basis.
7. Liaise with parents on matters regarding student affairs, teaching and learning issues.
8. Attend to Student-Parent matters with regards to student’s academic and behavioural attitudes and achievements.
