The Investment Sales Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness.There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

• Alternative Investments (Private Equity, Real Estate and Hedge Funds). Whilst the role is focused on Alternative Investments, the role does involve being able to have a working knowledge of the entire Managed Investments platform, and Citi’s broad Investments capabilities.
• The successful candidate will work very closely with our Private Bankers and Investment Counselors. The person who fills this roll must have a knowledge of Investments including Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Real Estate. The successful candidate must be comfortable with detail problem solving - to create the client solutions. Preferably, this candidate will be someone with in depth knowledge of the various hedge fund strategies both international and domestic. This person will be in constant contact with CPB Investments Teams as well as directly with our clients. Good sales and product skills are required, also a high degree of professionalism - client service is equally important as new business development. Often solutions require coordinating negotiations with our client's in-house attorney and our CPB attorney regarding client agreements.
• Participate in relationship review meetings with bankers and clients to explore investment management needs
• Respond to banker team leads for sales opportunities - first interviewing banker team - then speaking to the client
• Delve into needs with clients - analyze their alternative investment needs, craft solutions and present recommendations in written proposals
• Ensure that solution is implemented, remain in contact with client - look for add on business
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of experience
• Excellent sales skills - ability to demonstrate online systems to clients and prospects
• Knowledge of AI products
• Attention to detail and good follow-up skills
• Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills
• The ability to effectively deal with people at all levels - internal as well as clients, excellent interpersonal skills

Education:

• Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Complete definition and design of complex components, modules and sub systems. Contribute to the system engineering specification both within the field of one's expertise and broadening into other disciplines. Ensure designs meet market requirement specifications (MRS). Coordinate with project marketing and management to understand sub system requirements. Be able to chair architecture brainstorming meetings and drive the systems process to down select to a final architecture of a subsystem.
• Conduct detailed engineering analysis of sub systems using vast knowledge of design concepts and functional requirements pertaining to field of technical expertise and broadening into other disciplines. Assist in creating concepts for architectural design approaches. Evaluate architectures to provide recommendation for best system solution approach.
• Build and qualify prototypes of new designs, or procure entire subsystems from outsourced suppliers and test for compliance with detailed specifications
• Problem identification and troubleshooting a variety of difficult engineering problems in field of technical expertise, including serviceability and manufacturability.
• Support System Integration during the assembly and final testing of new product designs.
• Perform and coordinate tests as per internal as well as industry-accepted reliability specifications. Make suitable design or operational changes as required.
• Support system engineering projects that have a substantial mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms and software design, and understand the underlying system implications.
• Provide remote and onsite support to field support personnel as required.

Requirements

• PhD/ Master/ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with modeling dynamic systems involving, fluid flow, thermal, motion systems/position controls, RF/Electrical systems
• Experience in designing feedback control systems
• Understanding of adaptive control, signal processing, optimization techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with statistical methods/AI/ML desirable

The Role

You will perform production application support task for Supply Chain finance platform in APAC region.

Job Responsibilities

• Be the Subject Matter Expert on the Supply Chain Finance platform and eco-system facing the bank users.
• Responsible in E2E management of production incidents / service request linked to the Supply Chain Finance platform (e.g. Opening of tickets / weekly meetings on progress of outstanding issues / coordination with internal team on the execution of data extraction).
• Perform detailed support and troubleshooting for production incidents linked to Supply Chain Finance platform including coordination with internal and external stakeholders for impact analysis / workaround / root cause analysis.
• Work with the System Owner / Incident Manager to build on the Operational Knowledge Base / incident process management focusing on Supply Chain Finance ecosystem. PIC is responsible in creating / maintaining such documents including working with the project team to gain knowledge on any new enhancements / releases on the Supply Chain Finance eco-system.
• Responsible for validation of the platform after any scheduled / unscheduled patching of the Supply Chain Finance ecosystem.
• Responsible for management of the platform / coordination with internal stakeholders during any Disaster Recovery exercises.
• Responsible for execution on any system config changes linked to Supply Chain Finance platform.
• Highlight and escalates risk issues to relevant parties in a timely manner.
• Participate in system restoration for Disaster Recovery exercises.
• Perform other duties as and when assigned.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science or information Technology, Finance or Economics.
• Min. 9 years of work experience in the application or system support function, preferably in the finance industry.
• Possess functional knowledge in the Supplier Finance / Accounts Receivables Purchase / Dynamic Discounting product including middle office / back-office operations such as funding / payments.
• Possess functional knowledge on Finshare Platform (by Premium Technology)
• Experience in Enterprise Application support environment with interaction to multiple function (developer, infrastructure and service desk) and business users.
• Good understanding and competency in scripting (such as DOS, Shell Scripting).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
