Summary

This position is responsible for the training and supervision of a team of cooks in the appointed sections and preparation of food observing all standards as set by the hotel and regulated by local authorities.

 Job Responsibilities

• Train and supervise the work of kitchen personnel in the respective sections.
• Ensure personal cleanliness and proper department of all team members.
• Produce high quality food in a specified area of the food preparation and ensure that this is also practiced amongst all team members.
• Check the taste, temperature and visual appeal of food items prepared to ensure quality and portion are consistent and as per specification set out.
• Ensure that all equipment and perishable items are stored in its designated place and is done in the most hygienic manner.
• Prevent the use of contaminated products in any phase of food preparation and prevent team members who are ill or suffering from an infection from taking part in the preparation or handling of food.
• Ensure that team members follow the hygiene and sanitation procedures when handling food, equipment and utensils.
• Work closely with Stewarding in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Ensure that all safety, health, security and loss control policies and procedures and Government legislation are adhered to.
• Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
• Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
• Attend all trainings as assigned by management.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management.

• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and maintain a strong company culture.
• Serve as the main point of contact for new hire onboarding

Strategic HR Business Partnering:

• Act as a strategic partner to leadership, providing HR insights and advice to align people strategies with business objectives.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand business needs and provide tailored HR solutions that drive organizational performance.
• Support organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and minimal disruption to the business.
• Work closely with managers to identify and address workforce planning needs, including succession planning and talent development.

HR Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy requirements.
• Maintain and update employee records in accordance with legal requirements.
• Support internal audits and manage HR-related documentation and reporting.

Performance Management and Development:

• Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes.
• Support employee development initiatives, including training and career development programs.
• Provide guidance to managers on performance reviews and development planning.

HR Strategy and Growth:

• Implement and maintain the Company’s Employee Value Proposition and translate it into the company culture
• Create and implement a compensation and benefit strategy alongside the Chief People Officer
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies that support the company’s growth and objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and practices, ensuring scalability as the company grows.
• Grow into an HR leadership role

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws particularly for those in Singapore the US and the UK.
• Experience with compensation and benefits administration.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems, with experience in Rippling being a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A passion for creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

As a Solution Partner -Banking Finance Solutions, Singapore you will act as a trusted advisor with an executive presence and an ability to engage with SEA customers in the banking industry at C-Suite and increase the bottom line. 

We are looking for someone who can: 

• Strategically identify technical challenges and propose incremental business value within our portfolio and new clients 
• Understand customer business drivers and how to establish buy-in at all levels. 
• Comprehend the intricate interdependencies within the customer organization and guide the appropriate engagement approach. 
• Banking Finance solutions implementation and pre-sales experience is a must 
• Based out of Singapore or one of the prominent SEA cities 
• Access to most major banks in the region and knows C Level from business and IT 
• Understands business needs of office of CFO within the bank and has hands on working experience in implementing solutions across accounting, subledger, reconciliation, regulatory reporting, and other finance related back office areas 
• Excellent banking domain know-how and well verse with the industry trends
