What will you do?

The objective of the BDR role is to build pipeline through inbound and outbound activities including a range of demand generation activities. You will build brand recognition, nurture prospective new accounts and segments, by engaging with leads, prospects and customers via email, phone, LinkedIn, and networking channels. You will, together with the Field Sales Rep, manage a portfolio of key target accounts and be responsible for continuously researching and reaching out to key stakeholders while connecting across different levels of these accounts. You will be an important member of the APAC sales team working closely with sales, marketing, market development teams to drive deeper engagements and success. You will be reporting directly to the Global Head of Business Development while working closely with the regional BDR Team Lead.

Will I be part of a team?

Yes, you will be part of a global team ranging across regions and departments. In addition to our local Asia-Pacific representatives, you will be joining a global team of Business Development Representatives around the world. You will be able to engage with and learn from a global team to share best practice, insights, and knowledge. In addition to the BDR team, you’ll be a part of a regional sales team working closely with Marketing, Sales, Market Development as well as Pre-sales Consultants.

What do you need to have?

Ideally, you come from or have worked closely with the Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance sector (BFSI) in a sale, relationship management or customer service role now looking to pivot your career to the FinTech & RegTech universe. Previous experience doing both warm and cold outreach as well as managing inbound activity is crucial in this role. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be passionate about doing cold outreach and continuously connect with key stakeholders and build relationships within the industry. You’ll need to be confident when speaking and engaging with industry leaders and senior stakeholders, both in person and online. A key aspect of this role is to listen, understand and qualify the prospects challenges and needs to align the conversation and position the value of Fenergo accordingly. There will be training provided on the value propositions, the use and structure of the platform as well as how we currently solve these challenges and provide value for our clients.

What is my career path?

Main Responsibilities:

Outbound

· Build account plans, in collaboration with the sales lead, including account overviews, key initiatives and key stakeholders.

· Create and execute outbound campaigns, including research and coordination with marketing and sales department.

· Nurture and generate net new leads, contacts, and relationships to convert into opportunities through outbound activities, including networking, events, emails, phone calls, LinkedIn and relationship mapping and management.

· Build relationships, participate in, and research industry initiatives to gain knowledge on existing/future trends including potential new segments.

Inbound

· Identifying, managing, and qualifying leads that come through inbound channels such as the website, direct requests and campaign adds.

· Attending and generating interest in events by encouraging both clients and prospective clients to participate in events, both in-person and online. This includes post-event follow ups to nurture as well as generation of pipeline.

· Collaborating with marketing on a diverse set of campaigns to build brand recognition, nurture new verticals and generate strong quality pipeline.

Requirements

Required Experience, Skills & Education

· 1-3 years’ experience in Sales/Business Development, Consultancy, Relationship Management or Customer Service role.

· Fluency in English required as well as Mandarin and/or Malay would be an advantage.

· College Degree or industry equivalent qualification

· Ideally knowledge of MS Office, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce.com and SalesLoft.

· Experience of inbound and outbound activity into or working within the financial services industry, engaging with key stakeholders and senior management.

The role

As a Venture Principal in our APAC Venture Studio team you will act as an interim founder of corporate ventures, working with a lean team to identify, scope, structure and validate new opportunities that leverage the scale strengths and unfair assets of our partners.

APAC Marine Assurance Officer - Job Description

As a Marine Assurance Officer, you are an independent operational adviser, auditor and coach for the Company and vessels on matters related to marine assurance. You provide day-to-day Quality, Healthy and Safety, Security and Environmental (QHSSE) advice and active assistance within the business unit, department, vessel and or project. In this role, you ensure that all onshore and offshore activities are carried out with the highest regard to the health and safety of all personnel involved and the protection of the environment and the prevention of pollution.

Within the role you will advise Vessel Managers, Technical Superintendents and Masters’ on maritime regulations and the interpretation thereof to ensure Flag State and International Maritime compliance. You will advise Purchasers on equipment purchasing for ships to ensure they meet maritime regulations and standards.

You will implement vessel safety rules and practices to promote safety on our vessels, and leading by example towards compliance through a positive and safe attitude & through contributing to the HSSE awareness of all employees by coaching and advice. Develop and implement procedures, standards and guidelines that ensure vessel operations are controlled and performed in a manner that meets Company and regulatory safety and environment requirements.

You are also an important member of the QHSSE department within Fleet Services. Within this team, you will be part of a smaller team with specific tasks to complete. Being a team player and believing in teamwork is essential for these tasks.

• Observes colleague’s individual performance, grooming, punctuality.
• Performs staff appraisals/disciplinary actions if required.
• Provides a level of Safety and Security for guests and employees. 
• Assists in recruitment, induct and train the team who are competent and confident.
• Ensures grooming and hygiene practices of colleagues are in line with Raffles Hotel Singapore and National Environmental Agency standards.
• Attends daily meetings and all other meetings, which fall under his/her jurisdiction, follows directives given and advises Assistant Director of F&B on topics of importance.
• Attends monthly departmental meeting and communicates with the team. Follow up on projects assigned if any. 
• Checks daily opening and closing duties.

Marketing Plan and Revenue Management

• To be knowledgeable to represent the brand and promote the outlet. To be comfortable being a media personality, subject to approval and supervision of the Management and Marketing Communications team. 
• Comfortably and confidently answer questions and attend to queries or feedback regarding the restaurant.
• Makes recommendations to the Management on other potential sources of revenue e.g. promotions etc.
• Implements appropriate and effective measures to improve control of costs, expenses, and labor.
• Submits regular forecast of the restaurant revenue. Work out on property revenue to yield.
• Submits monthly sales analysis with improvement action plan and uses revenue management tools to generate reports. 
• Ensures all reports generated are accurate before submission.

Training, Learning and Development of the Team

• Stream lines all training requirements and co-ordinates all arrangements for proper execution of instructions.
• Conducts regular on the job trainings for colleagues to develop their skills/new menu items. 
• Records and submits monthly On-the-Job Training hours to F&B Office before the 15th of each month.
• Guides the departmental orientation for new hires.
• Ensures that colleagues are aware of hotel rules and regulations.
• Ensures that colleagues are trained on fire and safety, emergency procedures and hygiene.

Other Responsibilities 

• Performs any other duties that may be assigned by the Head of Department.
• Coordinates all functions with Culinary Team, Catering Sales Team and Service Team to ensure maximum efficiency. 
• Develops own knowledge and skills to grow as a business partner and leader.
• Ensures NEA rules and regulations are met and achieve.

The position is responsible for conducting all teams partaking in a guest’s arrival and departure. The Lobby Manager also acts as the center of all communication and action during any irregular incident during a resident stays or guest visits.

Primary Responsibilities 

Delivers the Raffles Hotel Singapore Arrival and Departure Experience

• Ensures guests receive a warm and personalised arrival and departure experiences based on and seamless flow of processes including supporting Lobby Ambassadors for check-in, check-out, and cashiering duties. 
• Ensures guests receive the experience as detailed in brand Standard Operation Procedure (SOP), Raffles Hotel Singapore Local Standard Operation Procedure (LSOP) as well as Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards, and aim to achieve the scores and goals set by management.
• Ensures service standards and individual performance are aligned with Accor Values - Guest Passion, Trust, Sustainable Performance, Spirit of Conquest, Innovation and Respect.

Manages All Aspects of the Daily Operation at the Hotel Lobby and Entrances

• Ensures the smooth running of the hotel operation by performing all tasks in adherence with the code of ethics as issued by Raffles Hotel Singapore.
• Upholds a flawless impression and perception of the Raffles Hotel Singapore services, products and colleagues.
• Takes responsibility to ensure 24-hours shift coverage in the Lobby Operation, Concierge and Raffles Service sections. Carries out Night Duty Management by himself if needed.
• Orchestrate the lobby operations from a seating perspective of main building restaurant patrons.

Maximises Efficiency of Resident and Guest Incident Management

• Manages any incident that occurs during resident stays or guest visits due to service or product shortfalls.
• Acts as the center of communication during any incident and takes immediate action to turn the situation around into a satisfying experience.
• Acts according to hotel emergency and crisis management procedures when applicable and always reinforces hotel values.
• Adheres to Work Safety and Health (WSH) policies and procedures and ensures all direct reports and peers are trained in and follow WSH guidelines.

Maximises the Outcome of Upsell and Cross-sell Opportunities

• Executes the annual upsell strategy and achieves all goals as set by management.
• Cooperates with all departments and divisions in promoting inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities.
• Performs any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.
