• Recognize and resolve technical, instrumental, and procedural problems that may affect test performance or result accuracy.

• Perform and track operational workflow on designated tracking sheets and Laboratory Information System.

• Learn and implement new QC techniques or technology transfer form R&D team from time to time

• Ensure the reception of laboratory specimens and rejection of specimens that are unsuitable for analysis are in order.

• Perform test procedures and proficiency testing in accordance to approved plans and/or external programmes

• Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new or modified laboratory tests.

• Assist in monitoring and evaluating quality control data, troubleshoot deviations, and implement corrective actions.

• Participate in proficiency testing programs and ensure accurate and precise test performance.

• To identify areas for improvement within the laboratory.

• Any other duties assigned by the CEO/COO from time to time.

Description

• Follow up with customers to ensure overdue invoices are resolved and settled promptly
• Work closely with Support Teams (Customer Service, Decam team and Sales team) to investigate and resolve billing disputes, discrepancies relating to outstanding invoices e.g. correct billing parties, purchase orders, service reports and related supporting documents
• Assist in timely month end closing for Accounts Receivable function
• Generate monthly statement of accounts and update AR aging report on a monthly basis
• Provide collection status and action taken to the Management as needed
• Send Letter of Demand, interest charges to customers upon Management request
• Prepare credit note instructions and write-off related documents for Management approval
• Arrange cheque collections and bank deposit
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist in interim and year-end stock take
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• LCCI/CAT or Diploma in accounting
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar role

This position is to support the crewing department in managing the administrative tasks concerning the company's shore staff.

Responsibilities:

• Keep and update crew members' personal records.
• Maintain crew training records and arrange training sessions for the crew as required.
• Assist the crewing department in handling administrative matters related to the company's sea staff.
• Check and process crewing-related documents, invoices and accounting matters in connection with allotments
• Coordinate crew changes and handle logistics efficiently.
• Provide reports and support to the Crewing Manager regarding the fleet of vessels.
• Arrange and validate seafarers' licenses, permits, certificates, and other necessary documentation.
• Handling seafarer grievances and disciplinary matters

Requirements:

• GCE O level or marine related certificates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is mandatory.
• The ideal candidate should be detail-orientated, meticulous, proactive, and maintain a positive attitude, with a willingness to learn.
