We are looking for a committed team player responsible for the coordination and development of science communication activities of the FRS and FHT programmes. You will work closely with the FRS and FHT Management team, as well as with researchers from SEC, ETH Zurich, and local partner institutions in Singapore.

Developing Science Communication Strategies

· Create comprehensive communication strategies for FRS and FHT aligned with the programme’s goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor Degree in related discipline.

• Proven track record of developing and implementing proactive media and public relations programmes, handling damage control and crisis management.

• Proven ability to deal effectively and professionally with the full range of external audiences including the media, business partners, regulators, etc.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills (with Media as well as well as internal senior management).

We are looking for a highly-driven and passionate Communications Intern (1 year contract)

Salary: Basic $1,500 + KPI Incentives up to $500

Responsibilities:

• Develop relevant communication materials & manage all vendor communication channels within the Vendor Experience team
• Formulates vendor communications strategies
• Manage content & collateral repository
• Liaise with various stakeholders to receive and consolidate information appropriately for the various content management sites
• Tracking of vendor communication effectiveness via conversions
• Weekly reporting of KPI performance for vendor communication
• Assist in other ad hoc projects & launches

Social Media Strategy Development:

• Partnering with clients to gain insights into their marketing goals and target demographics, and crafting comprehensive social media strategies that align with these objectives.
• Generating captivating and persuasive content for a variety of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. This encompasses writing and editing posts, conceptualizing design ideas, and collaborating with designers and talent to produce graphics, videos, and other multimedia content, including EDMs, social media audits, and branding guides.
• Overseeing and managing social media accounts for both clients and the company, which involves scheduling and posting content, engaging with followers and customers, and responding to comments and messages.

Advertising Campaigns:

• Creating and executing paid social media advertising campaigns to effectively reach the intended audience. This includes setting up ad campaigns, determining targeting criteria, monitoring performance, and optimizing campaigns to meet desired outcomes.

Analytics and Reporting:

• Tracking and evaluating social media metrics and performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and social media management platforms. Producing reports to measure the success of social media strategies and campaigns, and offering data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Keeping abreast of the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in social media marketing. Adopting new features and emerging platforms to ensure clients are leveraging the most effective strategies.

Requirements:

• At least a diploma in Mass Communications, Linguistics or similar field.
• Has skills in creative design campaign management and reporting.
• Good team player and able to work independently.

As a Media Executive in this role, you will:

• Work with one of the world’s largest technology advertisers, a tier 1 client for Publicis APAC

• Learn how to drive genuine business results through simple digital campaign optimization
• Help develop costing and data collection for planning, recommendations or analyses
• Develop media diary & copy instructions based on the media plans & proposals
• Manage media booking deadlines, to ensure material deadlines are clear with the client/creative team
• Troubleshoot issues with creative and troubleshoot
• Be responsible and accountable for prompt delivery of reports and recommendations

• Complete the important tasks outlined on the Officer Shift Checklist, to record and follow up all job related incidences in the Officer Log
• Report broadband and telephone equipment defects to the relevant vendors
• Attend to complaints and enquiries referred to by Communications Assistant
• Highlight important events, special instructions and information to the team
• Handle follow ups passed over from the previous shift
• Handle and deliver the Hotel’s general emails to the relevant departments promptly for follow up
• Monitor the status of jobs in Guest Request Management system and highlight any service delays to the respective departments for follow up
• Monitor and ensure the accuracy of all call charges/postings in the PMS and Call Accounting system
• Ensure Broadband charges tally with the Hotel PMS postings
• Conduct and attend trainings, daily briefings and monthly departmental meetings when necessary
• Maintain good housekeeping standards and adhere to all safety and loss control procedures 
• Monitor the functionality of in-house TV Channels, Pipe-in music system and other equipments and systems and report any defects to Engineering Dept
• Keep an accurate record of the inventory, rental equipments and stock
• Tabulate daily and monthly traffic analysis report
