The Global Marketing and Public Policy team is responsible for Vantage’s brand, identity, and positioning in the global marketplace. Position Overview

In this newly created role, the Director of Public Policy will be the person primarily responsible for developing, implementing, and reporting on the company’s public affairs program across APAC. The Director of Public Policy will partner with various internal stakeholders to determine Vantage’s policy priorities and build relationships with key stakeholders across multiple geographies to implement policy objectives. Additionally, the Director of Public Policy will engage directly and through third parties such as consultants (e.g. lobbyists) and trade associations at the local, regional, national, and international levels of government in APAC to advocate for Vantage’s position on a variety of topics such as energy availability, sustainable development, tax treatment, foreign direct investment, and data sovereignty, among others. Moreover, the Director of Public Policy will closely collaborate with Vantage’s Legal & Compliance, Finance, New Site Development, International Business Development, Design & Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams to help mitigate risk, ensure compliance with applicable laws, and assist with the development of quality sites for data center development, including seeking incentives and pursuing site opportunities.

Essential Job Functions

• Build and manage a public policy framework, including a strategy, program, and budget, from the ground up to support Vantage in both current and expansion markets across APAC.
• Research, identify, and track current and emerging policy and political issues impacting the data center industry across APAC, and engage internal stakeholders to determine company’s position, priorities, and risks.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in political science, business, economics, law, or a related subject is required. Graduate degree in a related field is a plus.

InsPIRE is seeking a Research Associate to drive research in Artificial Intelligence, Science of Learning, and Pedagogical Innovation, and to engage in interdisciplinary education initiatives, social media promotion, fostering academic integrity and enhancing InsPIRE's impact.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research and Innovation:

• Conduct research in use of AI in education, Learning Science, and Pedagogical Innovation

• Conduct research in use of technology to enhance teaching and learning

• Collaborate on experimental designs, data collection, and analysis methodologies

2. Social Media Engagement:

• Promote research initiatives through engaging content on various platforms

• Create multimedia content to boost InsPIRE's visibility and communication

3. Student Effective Learning Series:

• Co-plan and market student activities, workshops, and webinars

• Design and create publicity for effective learning events

4. Publicity for Interdisciplinary Education:

• Create compelling narratives for Interdisciplinary Collaborative Core curriculum

• Showcase benefits of interdisciplinary education through strategic collaboration

5. InsPIRE Report Editor-in-Chief:

• Produce and curate bi-annual reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy

• Collaborate with contributors and design teams for impactful presentation

6. Academic Integrity Policy Team:

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of academic integrity policies

7. Website Administration Team:

• Administer and maintain web content, ensuring functionality and accuracy

• Implement updates and improvements, including a mobile-first layout

8. Administrative Duties:

• Participate in team meetings, discuss progress, and address challenges

• Assist in event coordination, project management, and adherence to timelines

Job Requirements:

• A Bachelors or Masters degree from a recognized university.  STEM area preferred.

• Proficiency in graphic design, video production, and content creation

• Experience in planning and organizing workshops, webinars, and events

• Demonstrated expertise in research methodologies

• Familiarity with academic integrity policies and guidelines, and experience in contributing to policy development

• Proficiency in website management and content updates

• Experience in editing reports and adherence to editorial publication standards

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Pedagogical knowledge of teaching and learning

• Excellent team player with demonstrated ability to work independently

• Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and creative problem-solving

Responsibilities:

• Attend to customer inquiry, quotation, escalation & order fulfilment issues
• Coordinate the sales activities between the Sales Team, with the Sales Program Manager, Sales Coordinator and Costing Team
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse & Logistics departments to ensure the production scheduling & on-time delivery
• Project planning and management on new turn-on projects
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years relevant working experience in electronic manufacturing industry

Skills & Qualifications
