· Attend daily requests for sourcing of goods and services under his / her portfolio from production and other users.

· Check and ensure purchase requisitions are complete and duly authorized before sending request for quotations (RFQ) to approved supplier and competitive sources

· Liaise with suppliers for quotations / proposals, conducts negotiation with suppliers, co-ordinate technical clarification / work scopes / schedules from suppliers / service providers with users where necessary.

· Prepare commercial bid evaluations for next level approvals for purchase confirmation.

· Raise purchase orders according to establish system and follow up on deliveries.

· Ensure that all data of purchase are accurately entered into the Purchasing System.

· Conduct supplier appraisals.

· Perform additional purchasing related tasks from time to time.

Requirements

· Diploma in Supply Chain, Material Management, Marine Engineering or equivalent.

· Experience: Preferably 2-3 years of experience in procurement or related work.

· Technical Skills: Purchasing Systems like ACCPAC, SAP, E-Procurement and Microsoft Office.

· Interpersonal Skills: Able to interact with internal customers and external vendors with professionalism and integrity

· Have experience in negotiating contractual terms and conditions

Logistics

• Working closely withlogistics/shipping companies or agents for scheduling shipments
• Handing end to end coordination and documentation for all modes of shipments.
• Preparing certificate of Origin, Customs/insurance declaration
• Preparing LC, freight, BL, invoices , packing list and insurance drafts
• Ensuring timing submission, status tracking of all shipping documents, and preparing necessary reports
• Work closely with Project and operations team to schedule,track and monitor all incoming shipments.

Procurement

• Generate Purchase Orders to respective suppliers based on project needs.
• Check Purchase invoice for discrepancies on product type , quantity and price.
• Responsible for liasing with finance to clear all vendors' payments before the due date and in accordance to agreed payment terms.
• Perform sourcing when needed - Obtaining quotations from vendors and ensuring the validities remain current.
• Negotiating with vendors, if necessary

Others

• Support team members whenever needed
• Perfom all other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor /manager /management .

Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least a diploma in Supply Chain/ Procurement / Logistics or equivalent
• Min 2-3 years of working experience, preferbly in the Oil & Gas industry

• Responsible for the purchasing and monitoring of on-time delivery of materials, components and services to meet factory’s requirements on part deliveries and program deliverables.
• Aggressive expediting of orders and persistence in ensuring on-time delivery.

• Setup and manage mitigation plans on critical materials to meet Lead time requirements, Risk of non-supply etc.
• Pursue and/or purchasing process improvement to ensure efficiency of work.
• Manage supplier relationship and performance in term of delivery participate in supplier performance review and improvement plan to develop suppliers to meet company's target. Support in areas of Q & C. Or as assigned.

Qualification & Experiences:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a high-mix, low-volume environment or semiconductor industry
• Strong knowledge of managing global suppliers with good negotiation skills
• Positive attitude and independent with high ownership of responsibilities

Mackay is currently seeking an experienced and local Inventory Control Clerk, to join our Singapore location.

INVENTORY CONTROL CLERK JOB SUMMARY:

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for responding to inventory requests, ordering materials for multiple offices, performing depot-to-depot transfers, applying freight costs for billing, and providing pricing for service quotes. As well as maintaining established stock levels, requesting RMAs from vendors for returns, handling warranty claims and/or exchanges, and assisting with cycle counts. The Inventory Control Clerk will stage spare parts for service jobs, check parts out to technicians, and confirm that all parts are either returned or posted to a work order.

Responsibilities:

• Always follows Mackay’s policies and procedures.
• Audits shipments and receipts daily. Updates internal logs, and files related paperwork.
• Maintains an adequate supply of shipping materials.
• Processes orders of materials for the service department as well as for sales.
• Respond to RFQ’s from the service department, and via email, fax, telephone, and website as requested.
• Keeps an accurate control of materials used, track freight costs, and applies to customer invoices.
• Requests RMAs from vendors for returns, warranty claims, and/or exchange parts.
• Ensures the accuracy of orders received; validates quantity, verifies part numbers, and serial numbers against shipping documents and company purchase order.
• Label and maintain inventory in accordance with established procedures.
• Daily control of ‘Kits’ checked out to and back in from MSE’s. Record parts used from service kits, restock parts returned, and maintain inventory levels in accordance with department policy.
• Responding to and monitoring email.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Singapore Driver’s License
• 3+ years of inventory and/or stockroom experience.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to interpret and solve problems and issues, using instructions, diagrams, or schedule forms.
• Lift up to 20-25 kilos.
