• Build portfolio of activities that draw the local and regional I&E community to the new innovation facility, serving as a base to attract new resources and partnerships.
• Develop marketing programmes that will raise awareness of SMU IIE incubation programme both locally and within SEA.
• Monitor, review and analyze the performance of the startups and the incubation programme for management reporting, ensuring tight management of milestones and progress of the startups.

Objectives of the Position

• Experienced Global Business Expert for the processes Manufacturing, Site Logistics and P2P for supply chain (including Tolling Execution). Part of the Global Supply Chain Process Excellence team with members located in Europe, Asia, North America and South America.

Main Tasks:

• Implement new organizational and / or technical concepts for processes MFG (Manufacturing), SL (Site Logistics), P2P (Purchase-to-pay) in strong alignment with relevant stakeholders including global process owners. Facilitate and contribute to change and test management activities.

MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

Generate information for the purpose of market intelligence and business planning such as:

• Providing business intelligence with regular information on developments of supply & demand as well as price and cost information.
• Helping respective import/export Group companies in the implementation of their own strategy and optimization of their footprint when related to international seaborne flows.
• Developing and maintaining a network of decision makers and influencers in the respective regional cement industry, in particular in countries where the Group does not have a presence.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality and culinary arts or business management would be advantageous.
• At least 3 years of working experience in restaurant is required for this position.

To ensure continuous growth, the Business Development Manager will be focussing on positioning COWI to the local and international contractors working with large infrastructure projects which includes MRT, underground structures, bridges, ports, coastal protection, and waterfront developments. Additionally, you will act as the ambassador of COWI Singapore with an established reputation and client base.
Furthermore, in this role you will:

• Promote client engagement, cultivate positive relations, and identify areas for business and market strategy development.
• Meet market top and bottom-line goals and maintain COWI's business prospects and pipeline on domestic and international markets.
• Ensure quality and consistency of proposals and submissions, both commercially and contractually.
• Identify areas to support business and technical development, collaborate with large infrastructure sales teams globally for coordinated efforts.
• Collaborate with teams for recommendation on EOI's and bid submission with focus on achieving high quality scores and tender success rates.

• Comprehensive communication skills in English and preferably able to communicate in Mandarin.
