Job Description:
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with a strong background in banking, specifically in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) processes. In this role, you will be responsible for leading business and technology outcomes for assigned programs, projects, or contracted services. You will leverage standard tools, methodologies, and processes to deliver, monitor, and control service level agreements, ensuring the successful delivery of project milestones within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business and technology initiatives, ensuring the delivery of project milestones within the agreed-upon timelines and budget.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Program and Project Management with a focus on the banking sector.
- Leverage your expertise in Business Process Design, M&A Integration Management Office (IMO), M&A Tech Integration Change & Communications, and Requirements Analysis to drive project success.
- Manage the project team, providing clear direction, guidance, and support to ensure a high level of performance.
- Identify project risks and issues, developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Regularly update stakeholders and senior management on project status, issues, and solutions.
- Utilize KYC system experience (e.g., Detica/NetReveal system functionalities) to enhance project implementation.
- Drive discussions, manage stakeholders, and provide concise management updates throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Proven experience in Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes in the banking or financial services industry.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with KYC systems (e.g., Detica/NetReveal), including understanding functionalities and technical aspects.
Project Management: Strong background in system implementation project management, with the ability to manage complex discussions and stakeholder engagements.
Business Process Design: Expert proficiency in designing business processes that align with regulatory and organizational standards.
M&A Integration: Experience in M&A Integration Management Office (IMO) and technology integration, including change and communication strategies.
Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide project teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and provide regular project status updates.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying risks and developing effective mitigation strategies.
Certifications: Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
