The finance manager is the CEO’s partner in controlling the business’ financial health. This should be formally closed each month with no changes in previous periods – i.e. any changes relating to the past are changed in the current period to avoid losing track of these. This must be accompanied each month with a meeting to run through the key points for the month and the future.

• SaaS-based Reporting

This is tied to and forms part of the Monthly Reporting Package. It should be accompanied by relevant analysis, such as if we adopt a full IFRS (audit) compliant approach for monthly reporting and what other statistics and measures you suggest we provide investors.

Job Responsibilities

This is a 5 months contract role for maternity cover.

• To be responsible for all daily incoming mails/correspondence into the Sales department.
• To attend to the administrative needs of the department. To accurately type reports, letters, memo or fax documents assigned and to do filing and maintain an effective filing system.
• To attend to all phone enquiries to the best of ability. To assist guest/clients on the phone with the necessary information or/and direct/channel them to the manager in-charge.
• To arrange for all such brochures, promotional articles to be sent out on a timely fashion. Monitor stock level of the Sales Press kit, ensuring that there is sufficient stock in the store and raise requisition whenever the need arises.
• To send out brochures and promotional articles to clients.
• To ensure that the timely and accurate preparation of regular reports on sales and marketing or activities/events relating to Sales & Marketing.
• To update confirmed events and usage of function rooms as penned and scheduled in the register.
• To prepare and distribute event orders on a daily and bi-weekly basis.
• To conduct site inspection with clients.
• Any other suitable task as and when assigned by the Sales Manager / Assistant Director of Sales / Director of Sales & Marketing.

Job Requirements

• Able to commit for 5 months.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in administrative/clerical position.
• Independent and attentive to details.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the sales team and customers on products related to power generation, gen-sets, combustion engines, and protection relays.
• Deliver product training and demonstrations to customers, ensuring they understand the technical aspects and benefits of the company's offerings.
• Assist in developing and managing customer relationships by addressing technical inquiries, offering solutions, and providing expert guidance on product applications.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create and manage customer proposals, including technical specifications and budget estimates.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about trends, competitors, and potential opportunities in the energy and automation industries.
• Help in the development of budgets for customer projects, ensuring accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare and deliver accurate reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, R&D, and customer support) to ensure customer needs are addressed promptly and accurately.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to network and promote the company’s products and services.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years experience on an international sales position
• Experience working in technical support roles within the energy, power generation, or automation sectors.
• Knowledge of control systems, automation technologies, and protection relay products.
• Previous experience providing technical sales support in the energy industry.
• Proven experience or educational background in the energy and/or automation industry, with a strong understanding of technical products and solutions.
• Familiarity with the power generation market, especially in gen-sets, combustion engines, and protection relays, is a significant advantage.
• Strong technical support and product training experience, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with the sales team and external customers.
• Proficiency in PC applications and MS Office, with strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Ability to develop budgets, cost estimates, and technical proposals in collaboration with the sales and engineering teams.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage customer projects and timelines.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

The Role:

What Do You Need to Have?

• Candidate MUST possess a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistic or any related discipline.
• Candidate MUST possess 5 to 8 years of sales/business development working experience in the Logistic/3PL/Supply Chain industry with experiences in Business Development in Contract Logistics.
• Knowledge of RFQ and Tender procedures.
• Proposal writing skills and knowledge of warehousing, logistics services and supply chain management (both operational and strategic).
• Working knowledge of various costing methods and cost drivers (Fixed/Variable /Activity).
