MARKETING ASSISTANT

Definition: Marketing Assistant for Personal Care and Pharmaceuticals Markets in APAC (excluding China and India)

Job Descriptions:

• Develop invitations and promotional materials;
• Coordinate requests and send samples and gifts to distributors, direct customers and universities;
• Organize/ prepare face-to-face events, such as fairs and exhibitions, as well as virtual events (webinars) in Singapore and other countries in APAC.
• Monitor the success of events and social media initiatives;
• Co-create and disseminate local research (with distributors and customers) made in the territory, in order to better understand trends and market opportunities;
• Create presentations with content, marketing references and inspiration (benchmarks);
• Create quarterly bulletins for distributors and customers;

• Consolidate and update all local panoramas (approved products in APAC);
• Access, search and analyse data from platforms such as Mintel, WGSN and Pharma Circle;

• Support segmentation platforms created to detect opportunities for product promotions with the help of the team;
• Develop and coordinate administrative activities in the Marketing area, execute processes and routines, aiming at meeting the needs of promotion and dissemination of products, services and image of the company;
• Interface with salespeople and marketing / communication department of distributors in APAC;
• Represent Gattefossé Asia Pacific as the "Communication Champion" and be responsible for reporting the activities to headquarters and communicate with colleagues from headquarters and other affliates;
• Translate marketing/technical presentations from English to Chinese when required
• Perform occasional and/or additional assignments and tasks as defined by the supervisor at any time.

Profile:

• Training required: Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Pharmacy;
• This position reports to the Gattefossé Asia Pacific affiliate in Singapore;
• Experience as a marketing and/or business analyst (at least 2 years, added advantage with experience in personal care and/or pharmaceutical industry is preferred) ;

JOB DUTIES:

• Establish and maintain good relationships with new and existing customers.
• Ensure prompt follow-up and response to all customer's requests.
• Handling customer RFQ by sending quotation and following closely for quotation status.
• Attend to customer's requirements & coordinate on the necessary support until order is fulfilled.
• Coordinate with internal logistics, planners, purchasers, production, QA, and accounts receivable teams to process customer orders from purchasing order receipt through to invoicing and payments.
