Main duties

• Plan and prepare meeting agenda for communication meetings. Present & discuss relevant information in a timely and effective manner. It should include topics such as Service Level Agreement, sales, profit margin, quoting, training, market conditions.
• Negotiate special returns with suppliers where we require additional flexibility outside of contractual rotation/scrap allowance. In addition, special returns need to be actioned by any individual who is able to use their relationship, developed with the supplier, to gain a favor.
• Identify and maintain parts in inventory where sales and marketing needs to be alerted to tightened availability for appropriate business reasons (market conditions, manufacturing issues, etc).
• Approval of quotes based on a dollar threshold set by business unit.
• As appropriate, visit selected customers in the field, and participate in customer visits at corporate headquarters. Prepare and present appropriate information.
• Expedite existing supplier purchase back orders for stocking and/or specific customer requirements. For those situations where greater effort and relationship is required to achieve satisfactory results.
• Target and sign new franchises.
• Determine initial inventory investment, execute on supplier development plan.
• Perform range reviews to determine top non line items to create and purchase.
• Assign quotes by branch and balance workload across quoting positions in a business unit.
• Update cost books, lead-time, factory stock, cross reference files for dashboard and business unit shared drive.
• Adjust CBO pricing upwards in appropriate business conditions (supplier cost increase, restricted availability, etc).
• Prepare and present product related material to increase knowledge base of marketers and / or sales. Includes arrangement of suppliers / reps to conduct training sessions.

REQUIREMENTS

• A Degree qualification or equivalent in a relevant field of study.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience focused on product marketing.
• Experienced in the electronics industry within distribution, component manufacturers and/or EMS companies is highly advantageous but not a must.
• Overseas travel is required for this position.

In cooperation with the Director of Marketing Communications, his/her role is to assist for all key marketing, and events of the properties including above and below the line marketing, digital and content marketing, creative and communications development, events planning and organising to support the business objective set for the hotel marketing communication planning, budgeting, execution, reviews and results measurement taking in consideration the available brand standard and tools.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist to strategise, draw up and execute marketing and promotion plans and activities to promote the hotel’s products, services, facilities and promotions, as well as measure, analyse and evaluate performance of these marketing efforts.
• Assist to implement Dusit graphic standard in guest collaterals, sales collaterals and advertising execution to ensure that each items is in line with the Dusit graphic standard and is validated by the Corporate Office.
• Assist to support the sales & marketing department by developing the hotel sales and marketing tools including presentation file, corporate gift, media kits, multimedia tool etc. to ensure the most appropriate communication of the hotel, the product and the brand.
• Assist to develop and implement the advertising, collateral and promotional materials of the hotel including its F&B, spa, golf and recreation outlets as well as actively promote the hotel’s outlets into the market.
• Assist to manage creative developments such E-Newsletters, posters, flyers, banners, advertisements as well as update TV and other displays in hotel guest rooms and public areas.
• Assist to manage hotel’s marketing assets and platforms including media library, photography & videography, simple creative designs, website, microsites, mobile apps, social media, and others.
• Provide assistance in hotel’s Events, PR and media relations, activities and activations, including copywriting of press releases, media seeding, KOL collaborations, event coverage and other marketing support.
• Assist to manage and promote the hotel’s customer relationship programs
• Seek partnership and joint promotions with credit cards companies, magazines, airlines, NTOs, websites, mobile networks, consumer brands and business associations.
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with internal and external departments, business associates, suppliers, stakeholders, sponsors and guests.
• Be the hotel representative in both internal and external functions and events.
• Conduct marketing surveys for hotel and compile the report with marketing suggestion.
• Manage the hotel’s database including gathering more new potential, maintain the exiting as well as develop the database and the hotel’s email marketing.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Minimum education of Bachelor degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications or relevant discipline
• Minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience in a similar capacity
• Possess a quality to establish strong media and social connections.

Responsibilities

As a Product Marketing Executive, you will help shape SHIELD’s go-to-market strategy by developing product positioning, creating and curating messaging, and conducting competitor research and analysis. You will report to the Product Marketing Manager and will be expected to work closely with several internal teams. You will need a “rollup your sleeves” mindset in order to produce impactful online and offline marketing assets, develop sales tools, and support other marketing tasks as required.

• Help create and own SHIELD’s product marketing plan from conceptualization to execution by identifying market opportunities, developing product positioning & messaging, and executing product launches.

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, humanities, or a related field
