Job Description:The Strategic Procurement Manager will play a pivotal role in optimizing the procurement processes within the oil and gas project. Responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement initiatives to ensure cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards. The incumbent will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and finance professionals, to identify procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies that align with project goals. Additionally, the Strategic Procurement Manager will oversee supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality goods and services. Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic procurement plans that support project objectives and budgetary constraints.

Requirements:

2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a strategic procurement role within the oil and gas industry.
3. Deep understanding of the oil and gas industry supply chain, including knowledge of equipment, materials, and service providers.
4. Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic procurement initiatives that drive cost savings and operational efficiency.
5. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
6. Excellent analytical abilities, with experience in conducting market research, analyzing supplier capabilities, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
