Job Description
Role Purpose

As part of the Asia Gas and LNG Markets team, you will deliver world-class research, data, and insight covering Southeast Asian gas & LNG market fundamentals, prices, contracts, investment trends, policies and corporate insights. Your coverage will range from current market and regulatory events through to the role of gas and gas assets in the energy transition.

As this role leads our Southeast Asia gas coverage, you will have high levels of engagement with clients and the broader industry.

Main Responsibilities

• Build and develop high-quality research and leverage your analytical expertise and subject knowledge of Southeast Asian gas markets
• Provide analytical insights about gas pricing and contracting trends in Southeast Asia
• Drive our fundamental-based views of Southeast Asian gas supply, demand, trade and balances
• Lead creation of new written and data-driven research and topical insights
• Build and maintain contacts with key players in the industry; develop research and commercial relationships
• Engage regularly with clients, including senior executives
• Coach and mentor less-experienced team members, fostering an open, innovative, and dynamic team environment

Our team is responsible for troubleshooting and solving a broad range of technical problems for Solace’s global customer base. Required Skills:

• At least 10 years’ experience in a technical role (software development, technical support, QA etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Marketing Research and Analysis
• Collect and sort out important reports and data from research institutions related to Asia Pacific telecommunications market, perform market analysis and present suggestions to the Management
• Collect and research on competitor’s dynamics, including market development intelligence, price strategy, solutions, etc., for reference on market competition strategy formulation
• Collaborate with consulting firm(s) to develop an in-deep analysis on industry trend, market growth and competitors’ performance to assist related Department in making investment decisions, and provide suggestions to the Sales & Marketing team in aspects of personnel allocation, marketing strategy, channel expanding etc.
• Research on market and transactional prices of telecommunication products in Asia Pacific, identify the price difference and propose price strategy suggestions
• Assist HQ in carrying out marketing activities as well as collect marketing resources for Asia Pacific Region.

Requirements：

• Degree in Marketing or Business Related related disciplines
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience (preferably with experience in market research/ business / marketing analysis)
• Experience in Telecommunications Industry is a plus
• Well-organized, self-motivated, attentive to details, eager to learn, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Can-do attitude and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
