Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with Java applications, SQL/NoSQL, Handling Production operations.
• Experience working with any log analysis tools and observability applications like Grafana, Tableau, Splunk.

Mandatory Skills

• Collaborate and support Key Functional Stakeholders within Secretariat/MOT/Group Finance to understand functional requirement, proactively identify meaningful data insights and develop the right analytics products and recommendations
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of the product and report development
• Work with subject matter experts to bridge business needs and development of data solutions.
• Ensure robust documentation of data processes, standards, best practices and guidelines
• Develop, oversee, and drive the Data Governance Framework, ensuring the team works in accordance with bank-wide data compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate and cross-support Corporate Banking Operation partners in sharing of best practices and data needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field such as Business Analytics/Business Administration/Banking & Finance.
• Preferably at least 4 years of experience in a business/data analyst function, or related professional experience.
• Experience in a Financial industry would be advantageous.
• Related experience in process improvements, project management, and leading change management would be advantageous.
• Possess strong business acumen/knowledge to prioritize business needs and promote effective analysis for respective stakeholders.
• Meticulous and analytical to make informed decisions from data
• Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a new challenge, while adhering to data compliance guidelines.
• Ability to see beyond the parameters of a single project to identify patterns, risks, trends, and strategic context more broadly within the organization.

Mandatory Skills

• Willing to work in shifts to provide 24/7, on-call, holiday and weekend support.
• Has experience or knowledge on Incident and Problem management.
• Health check and monitoring production system and job scheduling to ensure SLA is meet.
• Troubleshoot and solve production issues related to performance and reliability throughout the software stack.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks in the system and work to resolve these issues before they become a problem.
• Continuous improvement of the system, e.g. job automation, performance tuning.
• Should be able to identify and fix the bugs.
• At least 2-5 years of hands-on experience on troubleshooting the applications run on full stack preferably in Java, Spring-boot, Microservices.
• At least 2-5 years of working experience, preferably in Banking or Anti money laundering.
• At least 2-5 years of working experience in production support in banking applications running on Windows and Unix environments.
• Should have strong hold on SQL server/Oracle databases and able to write/debug the SQL programs.
• Good knowledge in Linux/Unix/Windows scripting.
• Hands on experience on monitoring tools like Grafana has added advantage.
• Should be open to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Knowledge on GIT Bitbucket and Jenkins has added advantage.
• Knowledge on Actimize/Hadoop has added advantage.

Shift timing

1. 7am to 4pm
2. Need to support on weekends
3. Sat 10pm to 6am
4. Sunday: 6am to 3pm
5. There may be times to be called during off- working hours during the weekday to provide on call support for production issues.

JOB TASKS AND SPECIFICATION

1. Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.
2. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
3. responding to technical support calls from end users int a timely manner to service issues and requests.
4. Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone).
5. Create and Modify user accounts in Windows Active Directory & Office 365.
6. Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
7. Testing new technologyPossibly training more junior staff members
8. Setting up and installing new computers, networks and software.
9. Installing updates, known as patches, firmware, to hardware and software applications.
10. Installing and configuring operating systems, anti-virus software and other applications such as Microsoft Office.
11. Diagnosing and fixing network problems and hardware or software faults.
12. Maintaining inventories of hardware and software.
13. Keeping a record of issues and faults along with solutions, for future reference.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma /ITE or any Tertiary education related to IT.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in a heavy customer focus position involving and technical knowledge of a companies' products and services Knowledge on Data / Voice Networking is advantageous.
• Comfortable working and assisting others through company help desk software, such as service desk in addition to other remote access desktop programs.
• Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows and Linux.
• Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution.
• Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently.
• Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and clients.
• Experience in installing and configuring computer systems and applications for a large company.
• Ability to accept constructive criticism and customer feedback regarding their experience with software or IT services.
• Possess effective communication skills.
