Responsibilities

Working with the development team, you will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, testing and delivery of the software solution for an Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system or a high volume and performance intensive back office of an AFC system.

The activities required to be performed shall include the following:

1. Requirements gathering;
2. Design, implementation and testing of the software;
3. Preparation and submission of deliverables throughout the software development lifecycles such as Business Rules, Software Requirement Specifications, Software Architecture Document, Design Specification, Interface Specifications, Source Codes, Testing Specification, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Training Manual and other documents as required in the standard adopted by the Authority
4. Assist the Authority with day-to-day application support issues; and
5. Liaise with users on the requirement, design and testing issues.

The qualificationsrequired are as follows:

1. Recognised degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
2. Been through at least one full Software Development Lifecycle.
3. Experience in writing Requirements Specification, Use Cases, Design Documentation, object-oriented software design and UML modelling.
4. Good knowledge and experience in C++ on Windows and/or Embedded (e.g. QNX, Vxworks, Linux, Java etc) platforms;
5. Experience in multi-threading, socket programming and serial communication.
6. Proficiency in AWS ECS and Docker containerization, with a solid understanding of DevOps principles and best practices
7. Familiar with secure coding.
8. At least 5 years' relevant experience in object-oriented software development.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Good written and verbal communication skills in English; and Self-motivated and a good team player.
11. Added advantage if candidate is familiar with one or more of the following technologies:

Responsibilities：

Project Initiation and Planning Phase

1. Get familiar with available project documents, collect industrial and local regulatory context information, to fully understand the project planned to be built.
2. Prepare multiple schedules for project option assessment.
3. Develop and maintain the high-level project schedule files to align with business goals and project delivery strategy, brief schedule summary and assumptions for project team to continuously review and validate.
4. Assist project team to allocate and analyze available resources.

Project Execution Phase

1. Work with project team to develop the level 2 master schedule, set up baseline schedule.

4. Maintain master schedules in P6/MS project, keep the schedule narrative updated and log down the critical/important modifications.
5. Provide short term look ahead schedules and develop micro schedules as necessary, to coordinate on challenging work segments and assist on time targets alignment among different parties.
6. Monitor and document work progress in a quantified way (e.g., Earned value), compare with baseline, identify any deviations, analyze the causes, propose corrective actions, prepare and distribute schedule reports timely and accurately.
