ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support in all areas of the HR functions including ad hoc HR projects/programs, and in ensuring that it is by the relevant regulatory requirements and business direction.
- Champion the Recruitment & Staffing function to ensure that vacancies are timely and cost-effectively fulfilled by quality employees, as per company procedure, manpower plan and business need. Design and implement a Recruitment Process including the job descriptions, assessments and documents involved.
- Redesign and implement the Onboarding process - from the point a candidate accepts an offer to her/his confirmation review date – one that enables the employee to fully be orientated and assimilated into the company, the environment, her/his role & responsibilities, and a clear view of his career options within the organization in the next 3 years.
- Follow through on the planning and implementation of Training & Development programs and strategies to ensure employees are equipped and developed with necessary skills timely and to foster a learning culture.
- Review, update and refine current HR policies, procedures and manuals as per regulatory requirements and company direction in being an employer of choice within the industry.
- Preparation of various periodic analytical reports, e.g., Headcount & Staff Movement Report, Turnover Analysis, Training Records, Personnel Cost Analysis, Leave Balance & Usage Report etc. to highlight concerned areas and recommend/implement remedial actions
- Keep up to date on the latest HR development & market trends and recommend human resources initiatives to enhance management effectiveness and staff performance, e.g. retention strategies and development plans, especially for high turnover functions, performance reward programs, staff welfare and recognition programs, staff satisfaction survey etc.
- Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned by superior, e.g.group HR projects

BACKGROUND
Skills/Knowledge:
- Familiar with Singapore Employment regulatory and statutory requirements and best practices
- Hands-on exposure in the utilization and continuous enhancement of HR information systems, reports and practices
- Good computing skills especially in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of HR generalist experience in sizable organizations or multinational environment
Remarks: This role will be converted to a permanent role after 3 months.
