Job requirements

What are we looking for?

1. Diploma & above in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.

Job Description

(a) Preparation and checking of the Branch’s MAS regulatory reports and make adjustments, where required. Work with Head Office teams and system vendor to maintain an automated solution for MAS Regulatory Reporting.

(b) Assist with monitoring of daily regulatory ratios and requirements for the branch (e.g. Asset Maintenance Ratio, MLA & MCB) and preparation the daily regulatory reports.

(c) Assist with preparation of journal entries and detailed subaccount ledgers. Ensure adherence with Accounting Policy and Head Office requirements including performing checks on invoices and receipts for payments.

(d) Review of Nostro reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of unreconciled items.

(e) Assist the Department Head in taxation matters, including corporate tax computation and GST related matters.

(f) Provide the Head Office with financial data, including ratios for assets-liabilities position monitoring, Head Office regulatory requirement and ad hoc requests for financial information

(g) Assist in the preparation of year-end Financial Statements and the provision of supporting documents to auditors.

(h) Assist the Department Head to consolidate operating budgets for the branch. Review detailed subaccount ledgers of business expenses.

(i) Assist the Department Head in process improvement initiatives and other financial reporting matters as requested.

Requirements

Experience in Singapore bank regulatory and financial reporting preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

Good Excel skills

Able to work independently and with multiple stakeholders

Positive attitude, good team player and wiliness to collaborate within and across teams

Good communication skills, with ability to communicate well with various stakeholders, including Head Office teams in Taiwan.

Job Descriptions:

Accounts

• Support duties related to accounts receivable functions
• Taking customers orders and inputing sales orders and invoices into the system
• Keep track of outstanding invoice & follow up for payment
• Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries
• Assist in month-end closing bank recon & expenses reports
• Maintaining client relations.
• Tracking sales data to ensure the company meets sales quotas.
• Creating and presenting sales performance reports.
• Any ad-hoc duties will be assigned as needed.

Customer Service

• Attend to customers who call-in with enquires and request for quotations, or directing them to the appropriate sales person
• Assist sales persons to prepare quotations for customers
• Provide delivery status or updates of customers’ orders, coordinate changes if necessary
• Update changes in customers’ information
• Update inventory records, customers’ sales records and price change information
• Coordinate with store for collection and delivery of goods
• Perform any other Ad Hoc projects and assignments as and when required

Job Requirements:

• Singaporeans and PR Only.
• Proficiency in Tamil is an advantage.

Other Information’s:

• Salary: $2,200 - $2,700 per month
• 5.5 days’ work week (alternate Saturdays)
• Able to work with minimum supervision

Accounts Executive (MATERNITY COVER FROM 1 MAY TO 31 NOV 2024)

Responsibilities

• Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures

• Preparing invoices for rentals, renovations, inventory, aircon services, cleaning services, repairs jobs to tenants/partners

• Generate and consolidate AR Aging report

• Monitor & follow-up with tenants/partners on overdue account

• Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, recording and reconciling the accounts receivables and accounts payables matters

• Handling all bank matters including bank reconciliations

• General Admin Work

Qualifications

• Polytechnic Diploma (accounting related) / LCCI level 2 minimum

• At least 1 - 3 years' of relevant work experience

• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel) and Xero Accounting Software

• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
