• Handle post tender queries and correspondence
• Check purchase orders against tenders and quotations

Summary

This position is responsible for addressing inquiries and feedback from guests and various channels. Ensuring that VIPs and CIPs are assigned appropriate rooms and that their accommodations are satisfactory prior to their arrival.

Responsibilities

· Handling of Reception / Front Desk duties including but not limited to checking-in and checking-out of hotel guests.

· Provide courteous and efficient service to all hotel guests.

· Ensure that all telephone calls are handled promptly.

· Be familiar with all room types and rates in the hotel and their availability status; so as to up-sell whenever possible.

· Handle cashiering functions and adhere to the hotel’s Standard Policies & Procedure.

· Take ownership of problems, handle guest complaints promptly according to established procedures and then report to the supervisor for further follow up where necessary.

· Be familiar with hotel facilities and functions as well as major city attractions and events so as to provide guests with accurate information as requested.

· Ensure a professional and courteous working relationship and maintain an effective flow of communication with all hotel personnel.

Requirements

· A minimum Diploma qualification in any field.

· Relevant work experience will be duly considered.

· Willing to work rotating shifts.

· Preferred experience in the hospitality industry along with familiarity of the Opera system.

Job Description :

· Middle level implementation professional to handle and complete F&B POS implementation projects in hotel and restaurant environment at customer site or remotely.

· To understand the customer’s need and operation workflow; then to install, setup and configure the solution at the customer site.

· POS implementation includes: understanding user’s requirement / installing and setup of equipment such as the servers, workstations, printers and other relevant devices / system configuration / restaurant menu items configuration / site survey and testing for the system equipment / user training / on-site system testing / simple documentation / moving hardware equipment on-site / go-live standby support / after go-live support / etc.

· Connecting and testing network cable connection for multiple hardware devices is required.

· Ensure the solution meets specifications and functions per customer specific operational work flow.

· Report the additional functional request from customers to our internal Product and Development team.

· Answer operational and application questions and consult the customer.

· After "go-live", provide technical support to the customer when necessary.

· Work coordination with various internal technical teams, such as Product Team / Support Team / Development Team, etc.

Preferred Qualification:

· Degree from an accredited college or university in a technical, hospitality or business field

· 2-5 years of overall experience in relevant roles, to handle IT Projects and User Training.

· Professional skill in Windows environment for enterprise level projects

· Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products in particular, Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint

· Previous job experience with other F&B POS system or Hotel IT project.

Requirements:

• Diploma / NITEC / GCE ‘O' Level or equivalent

• Minimum C5 for English O level

• Preferably with 1 to 2 years of working experience in call centre environment and/or service related industry

Special Knowledge or Skills:

• Ability to communicate fluently in English and a Second Language

• Computer literate and good typing skills
