Job Purpose:

The Overseas Operations Support serves as a crucial contributor to the management of HR Operations for the NTI group of companies regionally, excluding China. The primary focus is to support the HR Director in running the organization, establishing best practices, and actively contributing to the enhancement of existing HR processes for efficient management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform the full spectrum of HR functions, not limited to payroll and insurance and also to act as Benefits advisory and support for all NTI’s regional offices except China.

• Responsible for full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition and management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, performance management and employee relations
• Provide strategic advice to management and functional leaders on HR related matters

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or its equivalent with 5 years' relevant experience
• Good working knowledge of Employment Act, local labour legislations and other statutory requirements
• Strong background in the area of compensation and benefits and/or learning and development preferred
• Willingness and capacity to learn new skills and technology
• Experience in IT industry will be an added advantage

As part of this position, you will be involved in a comprehensive range of HR functions, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, policy review, performance management, budgeting, and forecasting. Close collaboration with the management and corporate strategy team will be required, as you gain a thorough understanding of the various people-related challenges facing the organisation. You will be the go-to person for implementing solutions related to HR processes, ensuring compliance with labour laws and government regulations. In order to succeed in this role, you will need to think creatively, analyze data, challenge established practices, and at times, transform the way things are done.

Responsibilities

• Assist in employee payroll processing
• Assist in recruitment process, including screening resume, conducting preliminary telephone interview and interview arrangement
• Apply work passes for foreign workers including renewal and cancellation
• Prepare employment contracts and letters of appointment, confirmation and promotion
• Assist in CPF submission and preparation of tax submission and clearance
• Maintain employee database and update employee leave and entitlement records
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues
• Review and update organisation policies
• Review and configure current HR processes and strategy to boost overall productivity, increase performance and employee satisfaction
• Identify and draw on analytical tools and techniques to gather new insights, develop creative HR approaches and provide recommendations to people issues
• Assist in company accounting system

Minimum qualifications

• BA/BSc degree in Business, HR or related discipline

• Recruitment and selection for support and assigned positions
• Manage complete process of all foreign work passes (EP/SP/DP) applications, renewals and terminations.
• Manage the payroll & CPF & insurance matters, including statutory submission (CPF, Government paid leave, Foreign tax clearance, etc.), as well as e-filing (IR8E).
• Involvement and partnering in policy implementation
• Oversee General Administrative Matters

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Good experience with work permit management- application, renewal, appeal, and cancellation
• Able to multi-task under pressure
• Minimum of 4 - 5 years' work experience in the field of HR
