Job brief
We are looking for Section Manager to assist and support the Store Manager in the running of a department.
Your main duties will be:
Commercial
· Floor layout to be merchandised in accordance with company guidelines and promote new lines effectively.
· Analyse daily information and react to it accordingly, and taking charge of planning the commercial and visual activity of the store in a daily/weekly seasonal manner.
· Working closely with Operation Manager to ensure the best RFID practice in in place at all times.
· Control product levels in store.
Customer Service
· Monitor and support customer service action plans.
· Solve and mange customer issues as they arise and refer to the senior management team when necessary.
· Understand and reinforce the company return policy.
· To support customer service with product knowledge and awareness of the following;
-New arrivals
-Replenishment of best sellers
-Offering alternatives
Sales & Team Management
· Lead and keep a highly motivated team.
· Follow up on training for new on-board team members.
· Assist in the development and retention of an effective team.
· Involve in performance management of sales associates (absence, sickness, lateness, etc.)
· Motivate the team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
· Aware of the daily and monthly budgets to meet and execute them.
· Communicate with the management team on a daily basis with information regarding personnel and product.
· Ensure standards are maintained during the day and at closings.
· Ensure good housekeeping is maintained throughout all areas in the store and to communicate with the senior management team in case an incident happens.
· To be aware of the risks employees and customers are exposed to and to be aware of safe work practices and company procedures to overcome them.
Ideal candidate:
· Candidate with Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
· At least 2 years working experience in the retail operations. Or Previous fashion retail experience and/or supervisory skills preferred
· Experience managing a fast-paced retail operation. Passion for people & processes
· Strong systematic organized to approach to work.
· Strong leadership and man management skills.
