We are looking for a National Sales Manager, who is able to excel and lead.
Purpose
- Plays a strategic role in building creative sales strategies that are focused on consumer satisfaction and revenue generation for the business. This is to create goals that comply with the attainment of the business’s overall objectives and strives to meet and exceed these goals.
- Reviews on the existent sales strategies and identify areas of improvement.
- Conducting research and performing analyses on the performance of the sales department.
- Ensuring prompt delivery and accuracy of daily/ weekly/ monthly/ quarterly reports. This is for the purpose of identifying areas of improvement in the business’s marketing strategies, identifying opportunities and understanding the market and competitive environment.
- Assesses the amount of resources required by the sales department in order to achieve optimal Performance, leading to financial benefit for the business/company.
- To track sales activities and creates reports that the sales manager presents to senior sales management for use in strategic decision making.
- Sales Manager also has a duty to represent the business beyond the sales department, participates in tradeshows, sales workshops, sales seminars, and events on behalf of the business. This is for the purpose of collecting qualified leads and pertinent sales information as well as keeping up with market trends in order to ensure that the business does not lag behind of other players. This is also for the purpose of establishing the business as a thought leader in the market, gaining the respect and trust of consumers and competitors alike.
- The Sales Manager also has the responsibility in the development and maintenance of relationships on behalf of the sales department and the business as a whole, for example, between the consumers and external partners.
- To identify and develop new market opportunities for the business, such as develops and maintains knowledge of consumer, competitor, and market trends, stay up-to-date with industry best practices and standards through attending events and seminars. The purpose is to maximize the sales opportunities, keeping the department and the business at par with the latest trends and best practices, giving the business a competitive edge and solidifying its position as a market leader.
- To identify and develop new market opportunities and projects based on Vertical Market Approach.
Responsibilites
- Lead and drive the sales organization to deliver profitable growth by accelerating project presence, and market conversion by defining sales strategies/ policies and developing a high performance sales organization.
- Formulate frameworks targeted primarily in acquiring new business opportunities or various construction projects;
- Directly involved in sustaining future project pipeline and revenue by positioning the company for successful tender bids through market and client analyses, business planning and strategy, registration of interest, unsolicited proposals, pre-qualifications, client engagement and competitor analysis;
- Analyse market trends and competitors activity to evaluate the effectiveness of strategical and tactical sales activities in order to meet market demands.
- Continuously improve market and sales forecasting to allow efficient production planning and sales execution. Regularly assess and take appropriate actions to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in account management process, systems and tools.
- Work closely with Target Market Managers to strategies branding and other initiatives as value-adding components to business development and sustained earnings;
- Improves company’s growth and profitability by continuously improving company’s business plan and policies;
- Build and develop the sales team to become best-in-class consultants with the focus on providing solutions and value-add to our stakeholders. Attract, train, develop, motivate, engage sales team to achieve business goals and sustain growth in short and long term;
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
