Job Summary:We seek a dynamic Business Head responsible for the overall management and growth of our fire safety division. This role involves developing and implementing strategic plans, managing operations, overseeing project execution, and driving business development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire safety projects, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in business management and development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Execution:Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and growth targets.
Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform business strategy.
Set clear goals and performance metrics for the division and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
- Business Development:Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the fire project portfolio.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
- Project Management:Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of fire safety projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.
Implement best practices in project management and continuously seek to improve processes and efficiency.
- Operations Management:Manage the day-to-day operations of the fire project division, including resource allocation, budget management, and operational performance.
Ensure effective collaboration and communication across all departments and teams.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed.
- Team Leadership:Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development and training.
Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Financial Management:Develop and manage the division's budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
Monitor financial performance, identify areas for cost savings, and implement financial controls.
Prepare regular financial reports and present them to senior management.
- Marketing and Branding:Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and reputation of the fire project business.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Manage the division's branding and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing materials.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the fire safety industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in business development and project management.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
