Overview of role

The primary objective of the role is to establish and enhance Schroders’ sustainable investment proposition with clients and build Schroders’ credentials across Asia Pacific. Ultimately this will lead to a growth in AUM in sustainable investment products, longevity in client relationships and strong brand recognition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be an ambassador for Sustainability at Schroders in Asia through presenting to clients and other external stakeholders such as regulators and the media, and participation in regional industry and policy groups.
• Collaborate with client group colleagues in Asia to build and enhance Schroders sustainability credentials with clients through:

1. Delivering client presentations on sustainability
2. Engaging with Client Group teams to build the overall sustainability brand
3. Support the Head of Sustainability, APAC, to develop Schroders regional sustainable client engagement strategy and initiatives
4. Supporting sales & RFP teams to enable them to produce high quality and effectively written RFPs, RFIs etc.

• Collaborate with investment colleagues in Asia to support their sustainability knowledge:

1. Ensure investment teams make effective use of sustainability resources, including tools, central RFP materials and other educational materials
2. Support product development of a suite of sustainability products, particularly those that meet regional needs
3. Collaborate with the stakeholders globally, including the sustainable investment team, to strengthen the firm’s global sustainability strategy.

• Act as the voice of Asia for sustainable investing and contribute to increasing the regional expertise to the global team.
• Support the production of regionally-focused sustainability research, identifying emerging regional ESG issues and assessing their implications for industries, businesses and investment decisions.

Essential Skills

• Bachelors/Master’s Degree holder preferably in Finance, Environmental Science, Risk Management or other equivalently appropriate disciplines
• At least 5 years’ experience in product or investment management with exposure to sustainable investing or environmental, social and governance (ESG) analysis.
• Experience with approaches to integrating sustainability factors into investment decision-making processes.
• Experience in sustainable investing practices, ESG framework and industry standards.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey sustainable strategies to clients, colleagues and other stakeholders.
• Passionate about sustainability and keeping up-to-date with relevant regulations and guidelines related to sustainable investing.

As our Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the highest-ranking executive at CULINES, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the company and overseeing all aspects of its operations. You will work closely with the board of directors and the executive team, including the chief financial officer (CFO), as well as other key stakeholders, to drive growth, ensure financial sustainability, and advance our mission.

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

Education and/or Experience

• A minimum of Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in Business Management of relevant discipline.
• Extensive experience as a senior executive, including serving as a CEO, or COO.
• Proven track records of successfully leading and growing organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to drive strategic direction and execute business plans.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationship with board members, investors, and other stakeholders.

PLAI is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the company’s strategic direction, operations, and growth.

The CEO will be responsible for driving the company’s mission to become the global leader in sports team management solutions, building on the existing strengths of our technology, support, and user-friendly design.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in leadership, with experience in the sports sector, and ideally, a track record of leading technology-driven businesses.

Key Responsibilities

● Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and global expansion of PLAI, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and values.

● Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of PLAI’s suite of management tools, custom team websites, and administrative dashboards.

● Team Building & Development: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing executive team, fostering a collaborative and positive work culture that aligns with PLAI’s ethos of partnership and support.

● Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansions to strengthen PLAI's presence in the sports management sector.

● Brand & Community Engagement: Act as the public face of PLAI, representing the company at industry events, media engagements, and in front of key stakeholders. Champion PLAI’s values and commitment to being subscription-free, reinforcing the brand’s unique market position.

● Global Expansion: Lead initiatives to scale PLAI’s business model, focusing on international market penetration and customer base expansion.

Qualifications & Experience

● Minimum of 5-7 years in critical leadership roles, with a proven track record in team management and organisational leadership.

● Minimum 8-10 years experience in the sports sector, ideally in large-scale grassroots programs or high-performance environments.

● Demonstrated success in strategic planning, business development, and scaling businesses across diverse markets.

● Background in technology company leadership is preferred but not essential.

● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders including club administrators, coaches, players, and business partners.

● Strong financial acumen, with a history of driving revenue growth and managing budgets.
