Requirements and skills

• Work experience as an Accountant
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Bcom in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree

Responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced Accountant or Senior Finance Executive to be part of a team supporting the company and group’s operations in Singapore.

• Perform project accounting, ensuring financial transactions relating to projects such as costs, billing and revenue are properly reported;
• Participate in projects to streamline and automate financial reporting processes to achieve efficiency;
• Review and compile monthly reports for the group;
• Develop quarterly benchmarking reports and assist with preparing budgets;
• Oversee cashflow and related activities;
• Review receivables and payables, making sure journal entries are current and accurate;
• Prepare submissions for GST and other tax obligations;
• Support other business teams with invoicing;
• Conduct audits on fixed assets as necessary;

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting with relevant experience;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with project accounting exposure;

• Ability to work well in a team, as well as individually, with minimal supervision;
