Responsibilities:

· Prepare and review compliance handbook

· Handle MAS filings and inquiries from regulatory bodies

· Perform regular compliance checking to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

· Handle KYC and AML-related matters as well as client onboarding compliance check

· Provide relevant advisory to business/support units and other AML teams on matters relating to compliance issues, transaction monitoring review and investigation conducted by the unit

· Handle CPT related matters, such as update of CPT register

· Facilitate and address any MAS queries and external authorities, as well as internal and external audits

Requirements:

· University Degree in Business, Law, Finance or related disciplines

· At least 3 years of strong compliance experience in local regulatory compliance and risk management, with demonstrable knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements

· Strong knowledge or prior experience in key regulatory requirements such as the Securities & Futures Act, Financial Advisers Act, MAS Notices and Guidelines, and AML/CFT regulations

· Work independently, self-motivated, strong analytical skills and ability to exercise sound judgment and manage execution under pressure

· Familiar with FATCA and CRS reporting is preferred

Representative Management

• Administer onboarding/offboarding of representative.
• Update of representative particulars or contact details.

Correspondence Handling

• Handle emails coming through the department mailboxes and assign to team members in-charge of respective subject matter.

Sales Submission

• Support pre/post sales applications from representatives for submission to product providers.

Systems & Others

• Prepare management or regulatory reports.
• Ensure Standing Operating Procedure (SOP) are up-to-date.

Qualifications:

We are now looking for a new colleague in the position Vice President, Financial Performance, Investment Management to join the Malaysia Investment Management team in Telenor Asia. The Investment Management Team Malaysia is responsible for setting and managing Telenor’s owner strategy, governance, priorities, and activities for our investment in CelcomDigi and involvement in the country. It coordinates the dialog with representatives for our partner and the Management of CelcomDigi. The team is responsible for Telenor Asia’s country representation in Malaysia including coordination of key stakeholder engagement and communications activities.
