Job Description:
Conceptualization and Ideation: Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for visual assets that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives across company’s websites, social medias platforms and e-commerce channels.
Designing Execution: Design engaging, on-brand and impactful visual assets across a range of mediums, including digital advertisements, EDM, social media graphics, website elements, email newsletters, print materials, packaging, and promotional materials.
Brand Identity: Ensure consistency and cohesion in visual branding across all touchpoints. Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure brand integrity and alignment with company values.
Typography and Layout: Create compelling layouts and typography that effectively communicate key messages and enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of design assets.
Photo Editing and Manipulation: Edit and retouch photos to enhance their visual appeal and align with brand standards. Select and manipulate imagery to effectively convey desired emotions and concepts.
Multimedia Design: Develop multimedia assets such as video animations, motion graphics, and interactive presentations to enhance user engagement and storytelling.
Collaboration and Feedback: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into design revisions. Collaborate with external vendors, printers, and contractors as needed.
Managing Competition: Monitor competition from a creative point of view and stay abreast of the latest creative success and case studies.
Deadline Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to project timelines and deadlines. Proactively communicate with team members to ensure timely delivery of design assets.
Ideal Profile:
- Minimum a Diploma in Graphic Design/Visual Communications with min. 2 years’ experience in a retail environment preferred
- Experience in a print and design creative environment is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Adobe (CS, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva, knowledge in any other design software will be an added advantage.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects across different mediums and styles.
- Creative flair with a passion for typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and incorporate feedback.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality in design execution.
- Familiarity with current design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
