As a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, you are responsible to support the day-to-day operations of the Care and Call Centre (CareHub) to meet CareHub’s service standards, key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver a positive customer experience for residents and community partners who reach in to CareHub for support to age well in the community.

You will work closely with stakeholders and the CareHub team including Call Centre Officers (CCOs) who are helming CareHub, to draft, develop and implement requirements (including IT systems) and collaborative workflows and SOPs to bring plans into reality dovetailed to implementation timeline, organisation’s strategies, priorities and national’s directives. About the Role

Academic Programmes Development

Responsibilities:

Compensation Management:

• Develop and maintain competitive compensation structures and salary ranges based on market research and internal equity considerations.
• Administer annual salary review processes, including merit increases, promotions, and adjustments.
• Evaluate job roles and responsibilities to ensure accurate job descriptions and appropriate classification within the organization's pay structure.
• Partner with leadership to make data-driven decisions regarding compensation strategies and practices.

Benefits Administration:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other fringe benefits.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries, concerns, and issue resolution.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with benefits providers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of services.
• Conduct regular audits of benefits programs to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

HR Policy and Compliance:

• Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations and make recommendations for policy revisions as needed.
• Partner with other stakeholders to address legal and compliance issues related to compensation, benefits, and HR policies.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Collect, analyse, and interpret HR data related to compensation, benefits utilization, turnover rates, and other relevant metrics.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership to communicate key findings, trends, and insights.
• Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization of compensation and benefits programs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits management, preferably in a corporate HR environment.
• Thorough understanding of compensation practices, benefits administration, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret data to inform decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.

Job Description

To support core functions in the MSc degree programmes’ student life activities and administration.

Student Life and Student Club Activities

• Work with students, student leaders and student clubs to organize activities and programmes to promote interaction, build and strengthen the sense of community between student cohorts as well as with alumni
• Oversee and provide support to students for programme-related matters (e.g. accommodation, well-being, etc.)
• Manage Orientation programmes, welcome and end-of-semester events, and other programme events organized by the MSc Programmes Office
• Conduct programme-related administrative briefings for students
• Provide general counselling and support services to students
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Career Services, Strategic Relations, Executive Education and other Programme Offices) on engagement opportunities for students

Event Management and Liaison

• Support in contributing to social media outreach to current and prospective students, and alumni
• Deliver a super level of customer service and programme satisfaction to internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate SOP documentation, establish and streamline processes and systems
• Support Experiential Learning projects as needed
• Any other duties as assigned by Director, Academic Directors and Programme Office

Qualifications

• A Bachelor degree from a reputable institution, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience, ideally in managing academic programmes or student life functions in tertiary institutions
• High level of written and oral communication skills
• Experienced, confident and effective working in cross-cultural settings
• Meticulous with an eye for detail and keen appreciation of good documentation
• Ability to manage multiple and competing tasks and deadlines well, and with a high degree of accuracy
• Team player with good combination of high intelligence, emotional and cultural quotient
• IT savvy, with good knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications

(Appointment job grade will commensurate with the selected candidate's experience)

Responsibilities

• Assess/evaluate research proposals for their commercial viability and social impact. Perform market and prior art searches and offer practical feedback and suggestions to improve the proposals.
• Coordinate/oversee project progress to ensure timely achievement of KPIs and milestones, while fostering effective communication and coordination among team members, collaborators, and stakeholders. Drive project success through strategic management and stakeholder engagement.
• Support/manage the proposal review process with stakeholders to create clear recommendations for management. Ensure the evaluation is thorough and helps guide decision-making.
• Assist/collaborate with the IP team to identify and safeguard commercially valuable inventions by reviewing manuscripts and invention disclosures.

Requirements

• Recognized Diploma/Degree or equivalent, preferably from a science or business-related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of prior working experience in Project Management and Intellectual property will be beneficial
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Fresh graduates with positive working attitude will also be considered
