Job Scope:

* Assist to maintain the company’s Fixed Assets Register including arranging an Annual Physical Count to ensure that all fixed assets are properly accounted;

* Assist in the accurate and timely closing of the monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts and reporting to our local auditor and Headquarter in Japan;

* Assist to resolve intra-company discrepancies quickly so that the accounts can be closed within the given timeline; and work with parties affected to avoid future recurrence;

* Assist in the collection of data and information (build up the database) for reporting and disclosure in the Statutory Audited Report;

* Work closely with our local auditor, legal counsel and other affected parties to arrange for documentation relating to the annual accounts and ensure that the Statutory Audited Report is prepared accurately and signed timely;

* Assist to review and update SOX documentation/checksheets and check to ensure adherence to operational procedures and controls;

* Assist in monthly bank reconciliations and follow up with outstanding items; Assist in the preparation and compilation of tax and audit schedules;

* Work with/support divisions to pass monthly standard/recurring journal entries; Process invoices, payments, billings as required for timely month-end closing;

* Assist in ad-hoc assignments or projects as and when required.

Qualifications:

Educational Qualifications

• Degree or other professional qualification in Accountancy with minimum 2 years relevant working experience

• Diploma in Accountancy with minimum 3-4 years relevant working experience

Working Experience

• Preferably have some audit experience

• Have worked in a General Ledger/Reporting Department, A/C Payable & A/C Receivable of a medium size company to MNC with statutory reporting experience

Computer Literacy

• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint

• ERP Systems hands-on knowledge, preferably SAP

Summary

The Payroll Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. Responsible for various payroll-related tasks, including new hire data management, salary processing, statutory payments, and payroll reconciliations, the Payroll Executive ensures compliance with company policies and regulations. With a keen eye for detail and proficiency in payroll systems, the Payroll Executive contributes to the smooth operation of the payroll function.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Do new hires process including interface and update the necessary data in the payroll system
• Process overtime/salary / new hires, part-timers & interns’ payroll and resigned staff final salary payment
• Do upload and verify overtime, unpaid absences, allowances, expenses, claims, and other one-time payments/recovery before the above payroll process
• To check on renewal contracts, conversations to permanent contracts, and re-employment contracts cases and update into payroll system
• To check on the computations and adjustments to be made for promotions and salary adjustments including calculations of back payment of salary increment, update/cease of fixed allowances & bonuses and update into payroll system
• Ensure all statutory claims i.e. In-Camp Training, childcare, paternity, shared parental & maternity leave are submitted promptly
• Ensure all foreign worker levy waivers are updated and submitted promptly
• Prepare payroll summary & reconciliation for GL interface and upload into SAP.
• Prepare payroll summary & reconciliation for CPF payments and upload into the CrimsonLogic website
• Ensure no overpayment of salaries to resigned staff and recover any overpayment if necessary
• Update salary owing worksheet and follow up - refer cases to debt collector / send reminders
• Liaising with staff on payroll-related queries
• Perform any other duties as and when assigned
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedure

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting or Finance from a recognized tertiary institution
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
• Working knowledge of SAP and payroll system, familiarity with PayMaster is advantageous.
• Knowledge of statutory payments
• Able to handle payroll for 2000 headcounts

• The supervision of all stewards and their activities within the culinary department
• To recruit and select a suitable culinary team who are able to work within a decentralized management philosophy
• To plan, implement and record effective training programs for the respective associates in conjunction with the training manager and departmental trainers
• To ensure that all kitchens maximize productivity and morale and that associates consistently
• Conducts daily briefings and other meetings as needed to obtain optimal result
• Attends and participates to other meetings as required by the administrative calendar
• Assist the Executive Chef in developing popular menus offering guests value for money in accordance with IHG guidelines
• Interacts with guests to gather feedback about food
• Works closely with F&B Service leaders to drive guest experience and breakfast targets
• Assist the Executive Chef conduct cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchens.
