Responsibilities:

• Oversee Admin & Procurement department – leading group of buyers, procurement and admin specialists in the execution of sourcing and procurement activities to support daily operations of multi-utilities and desalination plants
• Establish and update procurement policies and procedures to be in line with governing rules, audit requirements and conforming standards in the company
• Develop and manage sourcing and procurement strategies
• Define procurement targets to meet company’s goals for inventory control, cost reduction and cost saving
• Establish and define new system development and/or system enhancement
• Define and implement projects for process flow improvement
• Support O&M departments on complex contracts and facilitate procurement and contract establishment activities

Requirements:

• Degree in supply chain management or business administration with minimum 10 years of procurement experience and at least 3-5 years leading a procurement team

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process from Purchase Request (PR) sourcing and negotiating to Purchasing Order (PO) issuance from local and overseas vendors
• Evaluate vendors’ quotations to ensure compliance with technical and commercial specifications required for the organization
