Overview of the Role

Rystad Energy is seeking a proven Account Manager with a strong track record of strategic account management and business development to manage, retain, and grow the firm’s largest Global Accounts in APAC. The ‘Senior Account Manager – Global Accounts’ will report to Senior Vice President, Head of Commercial – Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. We are seeking to fill this role in any of the following locations: Singapore/Kuala Lumpur.

The successful candidate will manage large complex accounts – i.e., the APAC entities of global energy companies (Super Majors, Majors, Large Independent E&P companies, Large Integrated Energy Companies, and Energy Services companies being the primary focus). He/she will drive the strategic commercial engagement with these Accounts, collaborating closely with the Global Account Management team and the regional Client Success Manager, to deliver value to these Accounts with the ultimate goal of achieving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish a vision for the relationship between Rystad Energy and our Global Accounts in APAC

• Act as a trusted advisor and adopt a consultative approach to sell our research and consulting solutions into Global Accounts in APAC

The Customer Engagement Manager is responsible for owning the international franchisee relationship and recommending tactics and products to improve overall performance and profitability as it relates to a master franchisee’s technology profile. They are expected to build healthy relationships with international master franchisees, analyze, consult, educate, and propose solutions for technical implementations. The Manager will oversee a team of technical consults and be the main point of contact for all technical implementations and monitor any issues or concerns. The Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering (SCELSE) is a unique interdisciplinary Research Centre of Excellence (RCE), funded by National Research Foundation, Ministry of Education, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and National University of Singapore (NUS). Hosted by NTU in partnership with NUS, SCELSE is linking new insights from the life sciences with expertise from emerging technologies in engineering and natural sciences to understand, harness and control microbial biofilm communities and microbiomes. This is enabled through its strengths in analysis of complex microbiomes, using advanced computational biology and cutting-edge facilities in genome sequencing, bio-imaging and bioreactor processes.

SCELSE is seeking to hire a Manager, Business Data Operations Management provide day-to-day facilities management and the data centre in SCELSE through ongoing end-user support as well as monitoring of HPC resources, including its 13,000 plus core compute servers and over 4 PB of high-capacity storage. The Business Data Operations manager is also responsible for the yearly performed external audit, as well as the key contact person for the SCELSE NSCC (National Super Computing Center) partnership.

In addition, the role will additionally ensure smooth operation of the SCELSE HPC through infrastructure planning, facilities budgeting, and regular review of physical and logical security of the SCELSE HPC with continued partnership with NTU-HPCC and NTU-CITS.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Partnership Management

• Contribute to the planning and execution of outreach activities.

• Send periodic updates to principals and further education counselors of high school partners.

• Plan and coordinate marketing and outreach activities in new targeted countries while deepening penetration in traditional markets.

• Establish and cultivate strong relationships with top schools through regular engagement for instance sending of EDM and relevant updates on their graduates studying in NTU.

• Get prompt feedback from partners on political and economic changes on the ground that might affect admissions results.

• Execute and adapt marketing campaign in different overseas markets based on differences on the ground.

Marketing and Event Management

• Work with team in conducting outreach activities based on outreach schedule and liaise with stakeholders to ensure successful conduct.

• Organize outreach visits to partner schools and coordinate with faculty representatives from colleges.

• Host foreign visitors from partner institutions and handle walk-ins by prospective applicants and their parents.

• Work with MOS team to ensure that marketing collaterals are updated and appropriately stocked.
   

Admissions application and selection

• Understand the education systems in new markets and propose admissions selection criteria based on market practices, intake targets, and applicant quality.

• Work with supervisors and schools to manage the issuance of offers, monitor acceptances, and handle appeals to meet the objectives of the MOE and NTU Management.

• Update and adhere to admissions policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Supervisory

• Coach a team of at least 2 support staff and temporary staff in processing applications and answering queries.

• Select, hire, and supervise temporary staff.

• Participate in work improvement projects.

Administrative

• Work closely with team members in delivering excellent service to internal and external customers.

Requirements

• A degree from a recognized university.

NTU is seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team in Office of Development and Facilities Management. The department oversees the physical development and maintenance of all University buildings and grounds in support of the academic, research and administrative functions of the University. As the Assistant Manager, Building & Facilities Maintenance, you are responsible for the management of the building and building services in the Academic/Residential Zones to ensure they are functional at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise maintenance activities to ensure inspection programmes and preventive maintenance works are carried out as planned and in accordance with standards expected. Follow up promptly on corrective maintenance works to minimise downtime and maintain a safe environment.

• Manage and supervise daily and cyclical cleaning programs, conduct regular inspections and monthly performance assessment to ensure cleaning standards are met.    

• Manage upgrading and improvement works, understand scope and requirements, develop work proposals and estimate associated costs. Oversee procurement of services, supervise work progress and ensure materials and workmanship meet standards. Review and track site progress through meetings and inspections to meet user’s project completion timeline.

• Manage and supervise BCA periodic structural and façade inspections conducted by appointed Qualified Person according to planned schedule and follow up with rectification of identified defects.

• Engage with event organisers upon event notification and gather event support requirements. Manage and supervise logistical setup and technical support as required.  

• Identify improvement works, maintenance needs and cyclical maintenance programmes and derive/ submit budget required for new Financial Year.

• Oversee other tasks assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution with at least 5 years’ work experience in the building or facilities management industry

• Good knowledge in building services design, installation and maintenance

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint

• Self-motivated, positive working attitude and customer-oriented

• Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
