Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company's daily shipping operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
• Work with ship managers to develop and implement strategies that improve operational efficiency and align with company goals.
• Manage budgets for vessel operations, including contracts, demurrages, and other shipping-related financial matters.
• Ensure the timely collection of hire payments and regularly update the financial status of shipping operations.
• Negotiate and evaluate shipping contracts, such as Time Charter and Contract of Affreightment, and address contract issues and renewals.
• Monitor and manage contractual obligations, ensuring adherence to charterers' voyage instructions.
• Ensure all shipping operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Collaborate with insurance brokers to secure comprehensive coverage for vessel assets.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Maritime Studies, Logistics or equivalent
• At least 2 – 4 years of shipping operation experience
• Experience in preparing or reviewing Letter of Credit and/ or shipping documents

Responsibilities

1. Grant Applications

• Identify and research relevant grant opportunities.
• Prepare, write, and submit grant proposals and applications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
• Track and report on the progress and outcomes of submitted grants.

2. Relationship Building

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry associations.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and other lead generation methods.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to represent the company and expand its network.
• Conduct regular follow-ups and maintain a database of contacts and interactions.

3. Market Research and Analysis

• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
• Analyze data to inform strategic decision-making and business development initiatives.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to support business growth.

4. Strategic Planning

• Assist in the development and execution of the company’s business development strategy.
• Collaborate with senior management to set and achieve business growth targets.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development activities and adjust strategies as needed.

5. Proposal and Presentation Preparation

• Prepare compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to the needs of potential clients and partners.
• Ensure all materials are accurate, professional, and aligned with the company’s branding and messaging.

6. Client Engagement and Relationship Management

• Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and present suitable solutions.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with clients.
• Provide excellent post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and long-term relationships.

7. Other ad-hoc duties

• Email Management: Efficiently manage and respond to emails on behalf of the executive team.
• Travel Arrangements: Handle all aspects of travel bookings, including flights, accommodation, and itineraries for business trips.
• Visitor Hosting: Organize and host visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  

Role Summary

• overseeing operations in development projects, assets, and investment projects to ensure that they align with the company’s business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the projects.
• Assist in strategic planning, periodical review on structure, and policies and procedures.
• Execute senior management business decisions that may have a critical impact on projects by coordinating with local teams.
• Assist in management reporting and monthly reports.
• Monitor projects’ performance to achieve budget and KPIs, and establish action plans timely.
• Assist in reviewing and facilitating approval of business plan of every project.
• Stay current on market trends and timely response to market change.
• Ad-hoc analysis and reporting to senior management

Requirements:

• Degree in any discipline.
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in operations and business management.
• Fluency in both oral and written English and Mandarin is a must.
• Urgency at work and strong initiative.
• Strong financial and business acumen with good organisational and time management skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
