JOB SUMMARY
· The Sales Team Manager reporting to the Team Head, Insurance Sales will be required to work closely with Business Managers and Product Partners in delivering assigned KPIs (APE & Revenue Target).
· He/she will manage a team of Insurance Specialists to support business segment(s).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
· To assist the line manager in achieving Bancassurance Target Objectives:
· To build, manage, train & coach a team of Insurance Specialists::
o Sales Performance through activity management
o Training & Competency
o Compliance & Integrity
· To build rapport & work closely with various stakeholders in achieving their insurance sales targets. e.g. Priority, Business & Commercial Teams.
· To build good working relationships with Partners & Product Providers.
· To provide solutions & services that meet the needs & interests of Internal & External Customers.
· Sales Activity & Conversion
· To work with Relationship Managers in achieving the target number of referrals and Benefit Illustrations generated.
· To achieve the target conversion ratio – percentage of successful closure and target product mix as stated by the Business.
· To train Relationship Managers via regular training, workshops and case-studies in order to deliver on product knowledge, insurance proposition/pitch, processes and sharing of new ideas.
· To generate ideas and action plan on increasing sales activity and other relevant financial drivers.
· Customer Management
o To ensure a systematic review process for Clients' existing business insurance policies.
o To ensure that Clients' enquiries are promptly attended to.
Business
To ensure that each Insurance Specialist (IS) meets the following:
· Individual Sales Target
· Training & Competency requirements
To meet the Bancassurance Team target in:
· Sales & Participation Rate
· Operational Governance
· Customer Satisfaction resulting in good NPS score
· Nett Revenue (Segment Rev - Cost)
· Low attrition of IS and to meet hiring target necessary
· Tracking & monitoring activities of IS to ensure standards & performance
Processes
· To follow related Processes/Policy of the bank
· Supporting the Insurance specialist in Sales application processing, ensuring document qualification and service guarantee, agreed TAT
People & Talent
· Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from your team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners
· Ability to work under pressure and multitasks.
Risk Management
· To ensure all Insurance Specialists comply with all regulatory & banking guidelines & regulations.
Compliance
· To comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and in particular, report any suspicious activity to the Transaction Monitoring Unit.
· To ensure compliance with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities.
· To adhere strictly to the FAA & good practices guideline, include attending weekly/monthly coaching, meeting & obtaining the required CPD hours.

· Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.

· Sales Team managers, Relationship managers from different segments and partners from various insurers

Our Ideal Candidate
· Degree holder
· CMFAS M5, M8, M8A, M9, M9A, BCP, PGI, Comm GI qualifications or equivalent.
· 5+ years’ experience Banking or sales management.
· Experience in Sales management.
· Experience in insurance or Insurance sales is preferrable.
