Job Purpose

Reporting to the CEO of the Keppel Asia Infrastructure Fund, this is a key role to manage the end-to-end investment process from originating and underwriting of potential investment opportunities, transaction management, structuring, deal execution, asset management and divestment. The key objective of this role will be to contribute to the delivery of maximising risk-adjusted investment returns for the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, identify and originate investment opportunities in accordance with the company’s mandate to meet business performance objectives.
• Identify and develop repositioning and asset management strategies to enhance the sustainable credentials of all target assets, notably the KAIF II mandate.
• Structure, assess and negotiate transactions including leading and supervising all due-diligence, financial modeling, deal analytics, financing and legal documentation.
• Identify, scope, engage, and coordinate with external advisors, including prudently managing due-diligence budget through execution.
• Make an investment case internally including presenting to, and seeking approvals of, committees and boards.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners, service providers, brokers, financiers and other asset stakeholders.
• Plan asset management strategies in accordance with investment thesis, including operational, commercial and capital structure improvements and interventions.
• Evaluate and execute investment exits.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 12 years of relevant experience, of which 10 years in managerial position.
• Experience in infrastructure private equity/investment management will be an added advantage.

About The Role

Qualification and Experience Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business (MBA preferred).
• +10 years of well-rounded marketing or business development experience in positions of increasing responsibility – with a focus on marketing expansion.
• Three to five years of experience in a leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with CRM and SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Adwords, HubSpot, WebTrends, SalesForce, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of big data analysis
