We're looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the Finance team, assisting with the day-to-day processing and tracking of payments, as well as other ad-hoc accounting and/or administrative duties.

Responsibilities include:

• Validating and processing invoices, purchase requisition and employee claims.
• Performing entry of invoices into accounting system.
• Assisting in weekly and ad-hoc payments to vendors, suppliers, etc.
• Assisting in Accounts Receivable - billing to customer and chasing of payments.
• Tracking of factory payments.
• Assisting in intercompany billing and reconciliation.
• Assisting in month end closing, including reconciliation of balance sheet and fixed asset schedule.
• Assisting in annual statutory audits and tax filing.
• Filing and any other ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as required.

Requirements include:

• Minimally a Diploma in Finance or Accountancy.
• Fresh graduates are welcome, though at least 1 year of relevant accounting experience would be preferred.
• Preferably some hands-on experience with Xero account software.
• Strong knowledge and confidence with Microsoft Excel.
• Highly meticulous, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Purpose

Researching and developing new menu items, products and processes, and operational procedures. With the focus to optimize ease of execution including cost control.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor new market trends and competition

• Identify potential new products for R&D with Managing Director and/or Operations Director.

• Work closely with Operations, Purchasing, Brand Marketing for annual new products go-to-market plan.

• Provide technical expertise for products in development, new or improvement of existing

• Ensure food safety and regulatory requirements specific to the menu development.

• Complete accurate food costing of ingredients for the products developed.

• Work along-side multiple departments with all aspects of product roll-out including marketing, creative, training and materials

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Culinary or its equivalent

• At least 7 years work experience in the F&B industry

• Must have basic knowledge of food product recipes, food processing, thorough knowledge of food safety standards

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients about the nature of the research to be carried out
• Design and manage a research project independently
• Programming of SPSS templates, syntaxes for capturing of data, excel macros
• Creating a data coding frame / coding
• Manage and execute analysis type projects (e.g. when data is provided by client / data-mining in big data)
• Data analysis based on project specifications (e.g. cross-tabulations, custom-tables, pivot tables, significance testing, multivariate analysis, matrix analysis, discriminant analysis, parametric and non-parametric tests etc.)
• Data cleaning and vetting
• Prepare and finalise reports for both qualitative and quantitative in PowerPoint / Word / Excel
• Conduct presentation

Requirements:

• Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Business, Mathematics, Psychology, Statistics and other relevant disciplines
• Experienced in quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods
• Experienced with using a variety of research techniques to gather relevant information
• Fluency in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and SPSS
• At least 2-3 years of working experience as market researcher or related field
• Has project management experience
• Good communication and presentation skills
